Just replacing splitters
I read that splitters should be replaced occasionally so I wanted some decent splitters to replace the 15 year old ones in the house. One is in my OTA TV setup and the other one is in my Cox internet setup. Both are working very well. These are hefty and solid pieces of equipment. I can't give you any technical performance numbers other than that I am paying for 300 Mbps service with Cox and I am getting over 300 on the devices connected to the router. That's a good number to me. I also get over 40 channels OTA very clearly. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

No problems with signal loss.
I have a panel in my laundry room where the cable enters the house and then is split off to various rooms. I needed to add another coax cable for a TV so I bought this splitter. I currently have a cable modem and 3 TVs connected to the splitter and all of them are delivering good speed and stability. 2 of my cable boxes are 4K boxes and the splitter handles the signal with no problem. I recommend it.

It Works for MoCA 2.5 Applications
First step in upgrading your MoCA configuration (coaxial wiring to carry ethernet) is to make sure the splitters that most likely were installed by your cable company many years ago can carry the higher frequencies that are required for the upgrade. You may find those old splitters are rated to 1000 MHz and that's not going to work in a MoCA installation (e.g. MoCA 2.5) that is designed to carry ethernet at over 1 Gbps rates. After inspecting my coaxial wiring I found that I needed three new splitters like the Tolmnnts 2 Way Coaxial Splitter 5-2500 MHz. So I replaced the splitters, installed new MoCA 2.5 adapters to replace my MoCA 1.1 adapters, and then measured ethernet LAN performance. I'm getting a consistent transfer rate of over 900 Mbps on 1 Gbps ports. These splitters feel like of solid construction. One of my splitters needed to be installed outside the house and will monitor that one to see if it fails when getting exposed to the weather over the long term.

A little more expensive than it should be.
Works good if you need it.

Measured a Marked Speed Increase - MOCA 2.5
I upgraded my network from MOCA 2.0 to MOCA 2.5. When setting it up, I read that old splitters should be replaced periodically as they can wear out. I'm not sure if my old splitter had worn out or it was the fact that it was a 5-2400MHz splitter, but I immediately measured improvement in my system. Prior to the switch - to be clear I'm comparing MOCA 2.5 to MOCA 2.5, the best speed I'd measure at my entertainment system was 750Mbps using ethernet. Immediately after the switch, and consistently since then - I've measured 850Mbps or over. I'm quite pleased!

A very nice looking splitter for the TV and wireless router .
I try to change the wireless router to the living room for better burst of the wave . But, no help need to be close to the cable modem . So I am not using it right now maybe later . It is nice to have a cable splitter for future use if I still want to change the wireless router location .

This will fix many cable modem issues like disconnecting.
If you look at your cable modem connection status, and check the logs and you see a lot of disconnects and errors--it's probably faulty wiring in your house. I replace my splitter outside on the side of the house with the tolmnnts splitter, and voila--no more errors in the log, and no more disconnects. I am using optimum, with 400mbps service. If you service keeps disconnecting check your splitters! The tolmnnts splitter has a substantial metal body and it is waterproof, my old splitter was rusty and the internet would always go in and out when it was raining, im guessing the water went into the housing and caused issues with my old splitter.

Good quality product with good signal strength.
I wanted a really neat, good quality 2 way signal splitter from my existing single Freesat Dish cable. This was by far the best splitter I was able to find and fulfilled all of my requirements perfectly.

Don't Trust This Rip Off Company
Bought this splitter for use with my Moca set up as I needed to increase from 2 to 3 outputs. This splitter does not work as no internet signals go through, but when I put the two way splitter back on, instant connection. So this one is faulty and I submitted my request for a return only to have the company tell me that I have to pay to ship it back which costs $22 for a $30 item!! Why should anyone have to pay to return something that is faulty in today's world? It should be fully covered by the company as they sent a product that doesn't work. This is unacceptable and poor business practice. Do not buy from them or trust them as they will not help you. Their customer service is short and no friendly as well.

Does not work on Satellite signal
DO NOT BUY Canadian Customer using Shaw Satellite. First disappointment was it took 20 days to receive this item. Nothing takes that long now. This splitter claims to split any Satellite signal. IT DOES NOT. So, Satellite signal in to two different receivers it will not do it. Save your money buy the cheap 2500mhz. You will have the same results. Clearly says made in China on product. I paid $30.92 for this product and Vendor will only Refund $15.00. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. Its no different than any other $12-$15 splitter.

Broken
For the most part, works as intended except one of the "out" connections doesn't work at all. Very frustrating.
