Unisex Embury Chelsea Boot, Black Wyoming, 12 Women/11 Men

I love these boots. Very comfortable, great cushioning, stylish. They get compliments everytime I wear them. Size-wise, I ordered my regular size 11 and they fit perfectly. So I'd say they are true to size. I have another pair of 6 eyelet Docs and they are also size 11 and fit perfectly.

I bought the Dr. Martens Embury Chelsea Boots (Black Wyoming) and immediately remembered who I was in the late ’90s. There is truly nothing better than a solid pair of Docs—sturdy, timeless, and built like they could survive a minor apocalypse. The leather feels tough but comfortable, the Chelsea style slips on easily, and they somehow manage to look both classic and slightly rebellious at the same time. The moment I put them on, I had the uncontrollable urge to dig out my JNCO jeans and dust off my Nine Inch Nails CD collection. Not because I needed to—but because the boots demanded it. They have that unmistakable Doc Martens presence: confident, unapologetic, and quietly judging every flimsy shoe in the room. Bottom line: these boots are a win. Comfortable, durable, and dripping with cool without trying too hard. If you’ve ever owned Docs before, you already know. If you haven’t, welcome—this is how it starts. Next thing you know, you’re reminiscing about mixtapes and wondering where your Discman went.

These are amazing! I went to the mall, looking for a pair of boots. But, I couldn’t find anything. Eventually, I stopped at journeys. They had a pair of these on the wall. They were beautiful. But, naturally, they did not have my size. So, I jumped right on Amazon and ordered the pair in my size while I was walking around the mall. The quality looks amazing. The size is just right. And it feels good. This is my first pair of Doc Martens and I couldn’t be happier. I can tell you one thing, it won’t be my last pair. I’m thinking I’m going to get an identical pair of the brown. They are glorious

This is the first pair of Doc's I've bought since the new millenium. I've never had a Chelsea boot so I wasn't sure how easy they would be to pull on and off. They are pretty easy to do that, and they are very comfortable to wear. I used the sizing guide on the DocMarten website and the fit was great. The leather is soft and feels broken in right away. I literally took them out of the box and put them on my feed for a gig my band was playing. On my feet for 4 hours plus set up and no fatigue at all. I will likely get another pair. They are great.

I usually wear 10 1/2 wide. Couldn't get the 11s on. Ordered 12s they fit perfect

My husband loves these. He has a fat foot and other boots we bought he couldn’t get his foot in. These fit and work perfect. He wears them all the time in the spring/winter.

I'll start this review by noting that, up until this point, as a guy in my mid-twenties, I had zero interest in boots of any kind. I was purely a sneaker guy—used to one thing and that was it. That said, these completely changed the game for me. Upon slipping them on with some of my favorite outfits, it was immediately clear how extremely versatile and practical they are. The Chelsea silhouette definitely contributes to that, but Dr. Martens' unique sole design also plays a big role—it blends just the right amount of streetwear edge with more refined casual vibes. Overall, my experience has been a delight. The break-in process took no longer than a few wears, and I found the true-to-size fit was spot on. I believe I'll have these around until I run them into the ground. Happily satisfied!
