Quality live plants and excellent packing & shipping!!
These plants arrived in such great condition and were expertly packaged! They are beautiful and all of them not only survived but thrived. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from this nursery again. It’s been 4 weeks now and the milkweed is getting ready to bloom. I had a delay in planting them due to days and days of rain and they lived in my library - lol - so they were tired come planting day but look at how good they are! Quality growing :).

Beware this is an expensive plant + a no do well to transplant from mail order
I am very unhappy with this purchase! I was sent the wrong color, a yellow plant instead of the vibrant red I ordered. And although the plant looked ok when it arrived, it immediately started to dump it's leaves. Today it is almost bare with just these tiny yellow flowers and new leave growth near the bottom. It has had excellent care from an experienced gardener. I do not know if it will come back or not. I intend to save the seeds and try to get new plants from planting them directly in my garden. Also, have not seen a single butterfly. Will not waste my money again.

Please replace one common milkweed plants8 milkweed plants were in great condition. Lots of leaves. One of them was damaged & unusable for Monarch butterflies as the leaves were yellow & falling off. I’ve asked for one to be replaced

Very happy with this purchase! 🌱🦋❤️
Please don’t worry when your plant arrives a little sad looking. Get it in a decent sized pot with fresh soil, fertilizer and a good watering as quickly as you can. Full sun after a day or two as I didn’t want to shock it. I will say the original leaves somewhat shriveled and fell off, even after I got it settled in, but within a few days, new ones started budding out. This picture was taken a few weeks after. I’m very happy with this purchase and am hoping to bring more monarchs to our yard with it. I plan to get a few more next year, but thought I’d do a test run first. Go get one for yourself…Or two…Or ten! Worth it!

I would purchase again
The media could not be loaded. Overall satisfied with how it was shipped, there was minimal damage to the actual plant. The leaves did have some black spots but I removed them and I inspected to see if I was a lucky girl to have eggs or a caterpillar but next year. She can work on getting strong for next year.

Terrible quality and hazardous to health of humams
My plant came almost dead, it was dry and needed a lot of water. Luckily plant survived. However, I have another concern. My plant came infected with helminths. Not sure what kind but I am so worried about exposure for my kids both under 4 and myself. It was supposed to be an indoor plant that we could use to help raise our monarchs we rescue from our garden. However, I was confused by the many monarch caterpillars that were dead and the way they were dead is very unusual. A few days later at the bottom of the container I have it sitting in to collect the water, there were very skinny, long, translucent worms that looked like they were filled with blood. They looked like a parasitic worm to me so I looked them up and sure enough they were helminths probably hookworm, roundworm, or other arasitic worm. Now I don't know what to do with the plant. I don't want these helminths to be in our property so I don't want to put them outside. I feel like I should just bag up the entire plant in plastic and dump in the trash. Or soak the entire plant and pot in boiling hot water and then bag up and throw away. Such a waste of money, not sure if I can get my money back or not. I really hope I can. What the heck do I do about my babies, what if they are infected with parasites now? My youngest got into the plant and spilled dirt in the floor and my oldest has been helping me water the plants by feeling the dirt and adding water if it's dry. I am so terrified for my children's safety right now I am a nervous wreck.

This is the most amazing plant I have ever had. I placed the small plant I received a yr ago into a bigger pot with extra soil. It grew very quickly. I learned what aphids were and how to get rid of them. I got to see the whole life cycle of the milk weed plant. Keeping this little plant alive and healthy through the hot summer months to see it seed was truly special for me and my kids. We planted the seedlings in a large pot and they are now going beautifully. The original plant grew 5 shoots from it's roots and we just moved It to a much larger pot as well. Super happy we bought ❤️ it!
