Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my second PTT product. I love that the on off switch is outside the device. It’s smaller so more discreet. Works great with Zello.

Works Great / Great Customer Support
Ordered the PRYMEBLU BT-PTT-ZU to work with the ESChat app on iPhones. At first I thought that to connect the Bluetooth functionality you had to do so via Settings on the iPhone which did not work. So I called PRYME’s Customer Service/Technical Support. The call went through immediately and after a very short conversation with a U.S.-based representative I had my PTT button up and working. Seems the ESChat app requires you to connect the PTT button via the Settings in the app, not the iPhone. The rep who was assisting me was top notch, and left no questions unanswered. BTW, I’ve been using the PTT button for about six months now and it works GREAT!

Great functionality but drops randomly
Used with Motorola Wave on a Samsung A35.The external power switch is great and the button itself is good. Hard to set off by accident, and it has great tactile feedback. Battery life is weeks of constant use.The real problem is that this button will drop very randomly. Most days, it works for 12+ hour shifts without a single hiccup, but sometimes I feel like I need to reconnect it every 15 minutes.

Good luck changing the battery!
Works pretty well with iPhone Bluetooth.The big negative with this device is changing the battery. You need a specialized super small Phillips screwdriver which is not something most people carry on the go. I've tried three small screwdrivers and still haven't found the right size. Poor design.

I’ve never been able to get this to work
Can’t get the Bluetooth to connect. Replaced battery and same result.

First one was defective...
The first fob I received was defective. It would intermittently connect to my phone's bluetooth or wouldn't connect at all, no matter how many times depressed the button. I didn't give up, though, and immediately returned it for a replacement...too many good reviews to not try again. Anyway, the second fob works like a charm. It connects to Zello without a hitch, and I don't even need to bring Zello to the foreground to get it to activate. I'll definitely be ordering another one of these for my partner.

Works every time,
Unit is nice and small, I have the velcro band which is adjustable so that fits comfortably on my finger. I just have to remember to turn it off when I’m finished with it.
