This was much easier to install than I expected. Although it seems like the instruction manual was written by a non-native english speaker, a modicum of common sense made things mostly understandable. The product does seem more plastic-like than I expected, but it's attractive enough while accomplishing its mission.

Just what I wanted

This is the 2nd time I purchased this toilet seat, the 1st one lasted about 1 year but it had a tendency to scoot around side to side, id always have to try to tighten it down and it would work for a while. I love the wood part but the bolt system is made poorly. This 2nd seat we purchased has been on our toilet for less than 2 months and it is already moving side to side. I am going to have to go somewhere and buy another. I think ill go look at Menard's for I do not recommend this seat to anyone. The adjustable part of the bolt pattern does not like to remain tight causing it to move around. Again, love the wood part but the rest is poorly made.

I little bit complicated for being a toilet seat. Instructions not clear about why it needs 4 set screws. But it works

This is a luxury toilet seat that was easy to install. I like the hinges which prevents the toilet seat from slamming into the toilet.

The mechanism to loosen the slow close lid doesn’t actually work, i unscrewed it to the point that the tiny screws came OUT, and the slow close was still just as tight as when I started. No idea what the issue is there, but because it’s so tight, the entire seat wiggles a bit when you open from a closed position. It’s something on the left side. The right side is fine, but no matter how tight I have it fasten, the left side has a malfunction that causes the seat to move. If the lid was more freely moving, aka less astronomically tighted, the pressure would be relieved enough to not cause this issue. Idk it’s annoying but not a deal breaker.I’m not impressed with the fact that the seat itself has grain, like textured grain. You don’t feel it, but that makes me concerned with bacteria and overall ease of cleaning. My old wood toilet seat had no such texture, but I couldn’t find it anywhere so I settled for this :/The color and gloss are gorgeous though, compliments my bathroom very nicely and doesn’t give that old, midwestern basement wooden toilet seat vibe. It’s classy and cute. Good cheap option, but I wish there was a way to fix that tightening issue.

Easy to install, very sturdy, lid closes like expected, great looks.
