Perfect - I installed 3, one in each bedroom. They work great with my favorite Smart Life app.
I purchased (with my own money) and installed 3 TreatLife Ceiling Fan & Light Dimmer Smart Switches from Amazon. For the best total price, I ordered one two-pack and one single pack. I installed two using the included faceplates, and one using a custom faceplate as you can see in my pictures without any problems. Since there are 5 wires to attach (with wire nuts) for each switch, I took plenty of time preparing my boxes. I first straightened all of the wires (including the required neutral) and then carefully folded them into the box so they could be pushed to the far back once connected. Using this install method made it easy to push the box into place. Being neat and taking my time really helped with squeezing in the extra switch depth.Once I turned the power back on after installation, the switches were flashing at me, but the manual operation of the switches worked fine. Then I connected them not to the TreatLife app, but to the Smart Life appwhich I use all of the time. The app installation steps to add the new switches were the same as adding other smart devices. For the install, I choose the smart dimmer switch in the app. The switches work on 2.4GHz, just like most of my other smart devices. The set-up was easy. On the Smart Life app I renamed the switches to 1) Master Fan Light, 2) Guest Fan Light, and 3) Office Fan Light. On Smart Life, there are two dimmer settings you can set. The first one is the mode with choices of Mode1, Mode2, or Mode3. These pair with the type of bulb you are using. For me, I found using Mode1 was the brightest and allowed the lowest dimming. The second setting is the Dimming Range minimum value. For my CREE dimmable bulbs, I was able to set this at 1% and still have the bulbs turn on at that setting without any problems. So 1% is where I left the min setting. When using Alex or Google, you will find 3 devices for each switch you install. So as an example, for the master bedroom, I named them Master Fan Light, Master Light, and Master Fan. So I can ask Alexa forthings like "Master Light On", "Master Light 25%", "Master Fan On", and "Master Fan Level 2". Remember that the fan has 4 levels.Likes: - fan has 4 speeds - light is dimmable (down to 1% for the CREE bulbs I used) - control both light and fan from the switch, alexa, google, or an app - Smart Life can control each fan or light from anywhere - Smart Life can set schedules, times, and even Smart Automation - a line of LED dots at the top of the switch indicates either fan speed or dimmer settingDislikes: - no backlight to find the switch in the darkOverall, these switches are great. I would recommend them. I only wish the logic of the light switches were backward from what they are. For me, I would like each switch LED to be on when the fan/light is off so I can find them in the dark. The TreatLife Smart Dimmer Switch (no fan) has this feature built-in and I like it.

The Switch and the APP controlling it far Exceeded Expectations.
This is a review of the TREATLIFE Smart Ceiling Fan Control and Dimmer Light Switch, Neutral Wire Needed, Single Pole Wi-Fi Light Switch Fan Speed Control, Works with Alexa/Google Assistant, Schedule, Remote ControlI have purchased 3 identical of these switches, a single and a 2 Pack, and installed 1. For some unknown reason the link to the single unit is gone from Amazon as of the writing of this review so I am posting this review on the 2 Pack item.I am using this switch to control a Hunter Dempsey 44 LED Low Profile ceiling fan/ dimmable light combo. The original radio controllers on this Hunter fan will not turn on the light (unfortunately as designed) when entering a dark room and flipping the wall switch. Due to that, I immediately went looking for a wall switch where I could completely control the light and fan from the wall switch or smart phone and IPAD.Pros:• From the wall switch or APP you can get the maximum brightness quickly, or the minimum brightness quickly, unlike other light dimmers that vary through brightness and dim by holding on the button causing you to guess if you are at peak brightness or the least dim. For me this was a huge advantage. The wall switch has 14 brightness levels and the APP apparently infinite brightness levels.• The fan controller has 4 speeds that you can control from the wall switch or APP. The Hunter controller I tossed had three speeds and it works only if you can find the controller. (You have to remove the old fan receiver controller from inside the fan. This TREATLIFE switch does all of the work at the wall switch and does NOT have a unit inside the fan. You have to have two separate hot wires going from your switch box to the light/fan on the ceiling box to hook this up.)• I found the basic operation of the APP VERY easy to install and use. I have not used some of the more exotic controls on the APP like scheduling and Alexa, and might do a separate APP review after I have more time with it.• Right now, I use a Google Pixel phone and an Apple IPAD, and my wife use an Apple iPhone. The look and feel of the APP is very similar on both the Android and Apple OS.• You can control the light or check its status anywhere in the world where you get phone or WIFI service.• There are small indicator lights on the switch helping you see where the brightness level and fan speed is at.• The 2 Pack switches arrived in Prime’s normal fast delivery.Cons:• There appears to be no way to turn off all off the indicator lights on the switch to make a bedroom completely dark. They are very dim and unobtrusive, but this will be a negative for some, but they could be covered up by tape.• My first switch took a wild ride getting here passing through half the states in the union and passing through my home town at least 3 times before arriving at my house.
