This is not your designer lab microwave popcorn. It's what popcorn use to be like when us older gen x were little kids to our parent boomers were also little kids to when popcorn was cereal before corn flakes and eaten for breakfast.It is a hearty popcorn that can take a topping without it breaking down, and yes it has lots of hulls but every popcorn kernel no matter the type has hulls. The advantage of these is they can be shaken down to the bottom of the bowl after popping.And to educate others, yes popcorn is a naturally gluten free food. But to be labeled for human consumption as a gluten free food, it has to be be processed in a gluten free facility. The same goes for oats. Otherwise the gluten free food can then contain said allergin and cause harm to the consumer.

These are the biggest kernels of popcorn I've seen anywhere. The kernels are so huge that my air popper makes them pop a bit deformed by heating them up too quickly so what I have found I can do is run the machine for 90 seconds, turn it off for 30 seconds to allow the heat to reach the middle of the kernels, turn it back on and enjoy big mushroom shaped popcorn.

I really like the shape and texture of mushroom but the butterfly popcorn has a better flavor.

The bag came with slash marks in it and popcorn missing. We kept the rest and put it in an airtight container. Big, fantastic kernels. It lasted about a month before some kind of moth started hatching in the container. Full of worms and cocoon things. I store lots of food and have never had bugs so I’m assuming they came with the popcorn. Very disappointed.

This popcorn pops well and the kernels are large and round just as described in the description. Popcorn arrived and a bag exactly as pictured. Will purchase again.

Okay, the popcorn tastes really good though the left over kernal part that gets stuck in your teeth etc with popcorn was incredibly prevalent and would stick to my gums, roof of my mouth all the time. Also I had split it into 2 sealed food safe buckets, one a small portion of what wouldn't fit in the other tub maybe 5-10 pounds of the product was in that food safe tub, the larger portion went in another sealed tub when I opened it, it had some weird moth infestation. The bag when I received it seemed sealed but maybe it has a small hole. So whether it was picked up in transport or from the farm I don't know. I do know when I opened the tub I put it in it still had a tight seal.

Large bag is a value, especially for quality of percentage popped and taste. Love large kernels

Popcorn is fresh, delicious and large. But, it's butterfly, not mushroom. The listing and bag said mushroom.Beware that there is no available method to contact the seller not return the item. It could be worse, but lower your expectations on the mushroom variety.
