You've got to be into some seriously big cable to warrant buying these, but on the odd occasion you need them they make all the difference.

I used it to cut some armoured electric cables no longer in use. It was about 15mm diameter. Did the job nicely.

Ratchet teeth does not travel full length and stops after cut. Ratchet swivel connect bolt too tight to move swivel cutting plates apart. Lock bar loose and lock off during use. All together looks a cheap hard to use cropper!

Had a pair of these 4 years ago not bad to day use them almost everyday brought another pair last week hope last another 4 years. Will go through 16mm 3 core with ease.

I guess it depends on what you are intending to cut with this but I found it a bit over the top just to cut a cable, I currently have a pair of large cable cutters, they just cut through battery cable like butter and leave a nice cut edge, with these you have to fiddle about to get the jaws open then put the cable between the jaws and ratchet away until it cuts through but in the case of battery cable it don't cut all the way through as you can see from the picture, I tried twice the ragged end is the first cut and the next cut down was the second, now these may be more intended for larger cables but for any cable near the size of the cable I tried better off just using normal large cable cutters. As a tool though they look well made so can't complain at the build quality.

Werkt bij XMKV of YMKV kabels met een stijve kern. Niet bruikbaar voor bijvoorbeeld laskabels met soepele kern. Niet scherp genoeg waardoor veel aders niet geknipt worden en in de kabelsnijder vast blijven zitten. Erg slechte kwaliteit.

Blir snabbt slö och fastnar. Skulle köpa dyrare variant.

En principio tiene buena pinta. Lo hemos usado para cortar cable AL 120 mm2 y sin problema. Le vamos a dar uso profesional. Ampliaré la reseña con el tiempo para dejar una valoración más completa.

Depuis des années j’utilisais des scies ou autres pinces coupantes. La coupe n’était pas parfaite. Avec cette pince c’est coupe parfaite + gain de temps. Je la recommande.
