Contrary to some growers feelings, you can get growing relatively easy with teks like uncle bens, where you let the spores inoculate in a bag of precooked rice. Some people have success with outdoor 5 gallon buckets if the climate allows! Good luck!

You probably won’t get pins and if you do, it won’t be pretty fruiting bodies. Consider warmer oysters like Pink or Gold
