Made My KneeRover So Much More Comfortable
I love my KneeRover knee scooter, but the original knee pad is definitely on the firm side. This supplemental knee pad solved that problem. It was very easy to put on and adds a noticeable amount of cushioning. Since I spend quite a bit of time on my knee scooter, the extra comfort makes a big difference. Simple addition, but absolutely worth it if you find the standard KneeRover pad too hard.

Good Knee Pad
Knee saver for my KneeRover! Although the pad tends to move during use, it really does save your knee if you use the scooter extensively. I have had issues with the pad slipping sideways during use. I had to modify the design by placing a piece of rubber between the knee seat and the pad which helps keep it in place. Even with my need to modify, it deserves 5 stars for what it accomplishes- saving my knee!

The best accessory. Highly recommend.
The original seat felt painful on my bony shin and knee, so I ordered this. After reading of it slipping, I was prepared with a small square of grippy shelf-liner placed on the original seat prior to adding this, which (mostly) prevents it from sliding around. It does occasionally shirt, but is easy to reposition, and holds that position fairly well. Win/win, and if you'll need a knee scooter for long, you will want this. Update: After only two weeks, it is definitely showing signs of wear. It now sports a permanent indention where my knee resides. It remains comfortable, beginning of week 3, but just sharing that it isn't holding up as well as I'd like.

Great buy. Use the paper instructions.
Putting it together does not exactly match the instructions, but once we got it done it has worked great. So much better than crutches. I also got the memory phone pad which makes it more comfortable.

It’s a nice soft piece of foam
It’s a nice cushion, but a little too soft, if you don’t have your knee centered, your knee could fall off

Doesn’t last, slides sideways no matter how much you tighten it
I broke my leg 16 days ago. I got the knee rover scooter 2 days later. The pad on it is not very comfortable so I spent $30 on this extra-cushioning pad + cover a few days later as I prepared for ORIF surgery. We put it on and pulled the strings as tight as they’d go and locked them in with the toggle. The first time I used it it felt very cushiony, but as soon as I went forward the cushion immediately shifted all the way to the right, and threw my off the side and onto my broken leg. Fortunately it didn’t undo the ER reduction but the pain was excruciating and the pad should never shift at all-ever. No amount of tightening has corrected this. It is VERY unstable. The pad makes it impossible to feel the concave portion of the pad underneath so you have to be extremely careful to make sure you are aligned and centered on the scooter. 2 days ago I got my first full cast on. I was in a sugar tong style from the ER and a similar type after the surgery, it only covered the back of my leg. 2 days of using the scooter pad with a cast (extremely carefully I might add) the pad is shredding. I only use it to get around the house to do basic survival functions like getting to the bathroom, kitchen, couch, or bed. Do yourself a favor and try another pad or glue Velcro to the mating surfaces of the pads or ratchet strap it down or something. Better yet, don’t use this at all and risk more damage to yourself and have it last for a few days.

Does not last
This is advertised as “premium memory foam” but I am not sure what is “premium” about it. It certainly is not durable. I have used mine for only two weeks before the padding no longer cushioned my bony knee. Here are my observations: 1. The foam is very thin and compresses too easily. It felt good initially not after a week I noticed it developing divots that did not spring back fully. The cover does not show them but my knees sure found them in the places I typically rested. I started trying to put my knee off-center but that made the pad uncomfortable or unstable. This is what caused me to replace the pad. 2. The pad had an angled bottom so it does not fully cover the knee rover pad. I am not sure why they did this as it makes the pad slide around. If you firmly cinch the pad it slips around less but the simple drawstring lock eventually slips so you have to cinch it frequently. It also makes the pad less stable due to the 45 degree angle cut. 3. The cover is cool material but that is the only thing I liked about it. The cover has Knee Rover written in huge white and blue letters on the sides. I did not care for that and would have preferred a plain cover. I replaced my pad with a Vive faux sheepskin pad. It stays on with two elastic straps, has far thicker foam plus a cushier cover, and so far stays in place. So far, the foam quality seems far superior to this one. It was cheaper too without advertisements. If you need a good cushion for bonier knees like mine, I would buy something else like the one made by Vive.

A knee saved!
I’ve only had this a short time and it’s been a knee saver while my foot is recovering. The pad was a little stiff to begin with and I didn’t feel much of a difference but it smoothed out and it’s 100% more comfortable than the stock pad. It fits well over the original pad and the two elastic bands keep it in place. My only complaint is when it’s hot out, it isn’t very breathable so sweat will build up but it’s still better than nothing. Maybe the sheep pad would’ve been better but I’m not planning on using this forever so it works!

Long term mobility! Easy to use. Couldn’t do without.
A knee scooter is a must if you want to be mobile during recovery. It provides you with hands free access while you are in the kitchen or shopping or stopped anywhere and need to be hands free. After using crutches for the first week I was liberated when I switched to my knee rover. I purchased this model for the build quality. The brake is integrated into the rear axle and not against the rubber wheel. Much better stopping ability and doesn’t degrade the rubber wheel. Handle bar and seat are adjustable and it takes a couple of tries to get it right for your own personalized ride. The handle bar also folds down. It fits easily on the back seat of the car and I can strap it in with the seatbelt. I also purchased the seat pad and I’m happy I did. I couldn’t imagine 3 months without the knee rover. And my wife agrees!!! Great buy!

Comfortable but large
Comfortable and easy to fit. Slightly too large for the knee scooter seat.

Great Product
The KneeRover was a Godsent when I broke my leg but it was hard on my knee. When I got the knee pad cover, it made all the difference. Well worth the money.

Thick pad
This is a nice pad, thicker then most but slides off easily when you shift your weight.
