As the author states, this book provides the details (and photo) details you don’t get with all the YouTube how-to videos out of here. Great book!

A quality bookshelf worthy book, where steps of weaving are illustrated very clearly in color. Plenty of variations of weaves described in plain language and tips and tricks such as making jigs to hold the cord in place while weaving. Pay attention to the part on boiling your cord first as it is a good step in taking care of initial shrinkage of the cord.

It is well written and certainly has better instructions than many I have seen. I agree with the reviewer who mentioned it doesn’t say how much to use-that is absolutely true. There really isn’t a guideline to help with figuring out how much to use based on wrist size or for every project. When writing something like this including more information on how to determine the amount of pararcord needed would have been really helpful; that said , it isn’t like there is never an amount needed given. Also, the beginning of the book which discusses how to prep the cord-including how to preshrink it was a wonderful bit of information to have!Overall a well written book. Just a little key info missing or not clearly enough defined if it was trying to be conveyed.

This book has a lot of different survival uses for para cord, I recommend it!
