Aves Apoxie Sculpt - 2 Part Modeling Compound (A & B) - 1 Pound

I love apoxie Sculpt and even though this never arrived by no fault to Aves I would recommend it. It is a little expensive for the amount you get but there are not a lot of options available for apoxie sculpt like this in a lot of color options.

I expected a lighter blue that I would have to mix with black for a better denim color. This arrived and it's a perfect shade for my purpose.

When arrived part A container was broken. It’s still good and useable. Just glad I didn’t lose any. Had an old part B container I cleaned out and move it into. Likely broke in shipping. Came in a yellow envelope. Would have been safer in a box.

Great product. I bought it for my hobby before in smaller amounts. However, I needed more and this was a good amount. Plus, I love how it comes in different colors. Nice!

while this works as described the color shown is misleading, the vivid blue must be mixed 1:1 with a rather dark grey counterpart, results in a very dull/dark blue - truth in advertising, please

I was curious how this would work in woodturning projects. Works great! Turns like butter, has no voids and holds securely to the wood. It's fairly stiff and you definitely want to wear disposable gloves when kneading it. I plan to buy the white putty and mix in pigments.

I patched a cast iron sanitary sewer pipe with it. I bought blue because it was the cheapest and the color didn't matter. I intended for it to be a temporary fix to deal with an emergency. However, it's still holding strong and has surpassed my expectations. It's a great product and I highly recommend it.
