Are these the same size as nasal cease?

Yes, this is actually the same thing, just in larger bulk packaging. NasalCease and BleedCease are the same product and equally effective.

what is the size of the pad (unwrapped)? Thanks

Size is good for adults. Works great for chronic bad nosebleeds.

Does BleedCease contain a chemical to help blood clot, or is it simply a product made with cellulose to absorb blood?

info from the company:How it works: BleedCease is calcium alginate - a natural biopolymer. Calcium, a coagulant, is immediately released upon contact with blood, accelerating clotting. Calcium continues to be released until bleeding has ceased. It is transformed into a moist mass for easy removal without sticking to or tearing new clots - no rebleeds. It can absorb up to 20x its weight in blood.

Will this product work on dog toenails that have been cut too short and bleed?

I don’t see why they wouldn’t. You would have to hold it on for a little bit. They work great for nose bleeds.
