Buying gifts for a 12 year old boy at Christmas is difficult but this was an absolute winner! We will be getting him others in the range for his birthday along with an electric target. Its quite powerful, but not too dangerous. Comes keen on bare skin but not as much as a bb gun! It sounds great as it's semi-automatic and looks the part- he cant wait to show it off to his mates. Even his Dad has been playing with it. The balls are like the Orbeez balls you get and you can buy 60,000 of them for a few quid on Amazon - you do need to soak the balls in water for about 4 hours before using them! Also rechargeable so doesnt need new batteries every 5 minutes. Highly recommend it.

Firstly, the instructions are very poor. Fortunately the features can be worked out but no mention at all of soaking the pellets. Luckily I read this before buying and knew to soak the pellets overnight. The gun jams constantly and on the rare occasions when a pellet is actually fired it ‘flys’ only a few feet. I’d have been disappointed if I’d paid a tenner but at 40 quid I want my money back. Absolute rubbish - do not buy this useless gun.

Great quality. Son loves it. Easy to set up and use. Doesn’t always fire a ball with each shot but not a big deal.

Dissatisfied with product! Looks and sounds very realistic but the point of the gun was to shoot gel pellets, which it doesn’t! No idea what the range is as can’t seem to get the pellets to fire out? Not even a jam, just nothing?? Used the pellets supplied and bought replacement ones and just nothing!

The gel balls that come with the gun burst inside the gun, this causes to to jam. When you first load the gun it takes awhile for 1 ball to come out, does not fire the distance that was said on the box and over all I am very disappointed with this product and the price I paid for something that does not work.
