Great gift for a child/ or little girl.

I liked the fact that it has a couple keys.

My 8 year old granddaughter immediately started writing in it. I’m sure the keys will immediately get lost, but she was very happy with the diary. Seems well made but you can not add pages

My daughter had surgery Monday and wanted a journal to use during recovery. We bought this very cute journal which arrived quickly. The lock was broke upon arrival and the outer journal was damaged. She wasn’t going to return it as she is 4 and didn’t wAnt to wait any longer. It is cute but I would have spent my money elsewhere if I had known it wasn’t going to be able to use the lock because she wants to keep her 7 year old sister out of her journal (which she doesn’t know how to write in lol).

Very, very cute. She loves it!!! But the lock didn't work at all. Good thing it came unlocked, otherwise I'd have to cut it off. Very flimsy lock, could be better I think. I have tiny good brass pad locks, so it's not really a problem :-)

I got this for journaling back and forth with my daughter. The lock feels a little flimsy, but my six-year-old is able to use it without trouble. The journal is cute, but the flower print on the pages can make it a bit hard to read what's written. For a child learning to read and write, that's a complication.
