Not durable
I used the Speed Hound bike bag on a recent work trip. First I travelled to Australia. The bag was fairly easy to pack after watching an online video. However, once the bike was packed, it leaned to one side whenever the bag sat upright. This made rolling it a challenge as it wanted to tip over. I had to prop the bag against a wall or chair to keep it from tipping over. The lean made it really aggravating to roll the bag through the airport. My bike did make it to Australia in good shape. After repacking for the trip home, the bag still leaned to one side; probably 20 degrees. I tried adjusting the bike inside the bag, but there was no improvement in the lean. As I tightened the straps for the return trip, several of the straps pulled out from where they were sewn into the bag; the seams ripped out. This made it more difficult to secure in the bag. Again, the bike made the trip home with no damage. However, when I retrieved the bag from the carousel, there was a 4" rip in the exterior fabric. I would not buy this bag again.

Good bag, but handle broken after single trip to airport
I used this bag to bring my Specialized Epic 29er to Colombia and back to the US. Five total flights to a remote area, the bag kept the bicycle intact. The outside fared fairly well, got beat up as typical luggage does. There were plenty of straps to keep the frame and random bits secured, as well as plenty of pockets to put stuff into. The wheels made moving it pretty easy, especially nice considering I had to collect it and check it in again in El Salvador. I can confirm that the 29er wheels fit without deflating, for those that are concerned about undoing their tubeless setup. It was tight, but didn’t take much massaging to get them in. Why 3 stars? The main handle already broke - it only made a single trip to the airport before giving up the ghost while walking into the airport on the way back. Without this strap the bag gets considerably more difficult to handle. The bag wasn’t overloaded, I didn’t even get charged the overweight fee on two different airlines. Disappointing, as the rest of the bag seems to work pretty well.

Kept my bike safe! Difficult for first time packers.
First and foremost, it kept my bike 100% safe traveling from Guam - Korea - New Zealand. Which is really the most important point.Second, that was not as straightforward to pack as I was anticipating. Mind you, this was my first attempt packing a bike. Directions included were minimal. I eventually figured it out, but got damn that took me a second (or several hours).Third, I don’t know if there is anyway around this but that thing was awkward and lopsided once packed. I’m sure it was amusing watching me try and tote it behind me with my other bags. 😆Last but not least, there was plenty of room for all of my other gear (helmet, pump, shoes, and a bag full of other tri gear).Overall, recommend. It did it’s job. Kept my carbon fiber bike in one piece. I only gave it 4 stars because it was not very beginner friendly and the directions included were minimal.

Amazing Quality
As a cycling team we have used hard bike cases for travel before. They are big, heavy, and hard to use. We have riders that travel tons to races and such with bikes. Having a secure case that is protective and easy to use is key our bikes are important to us especially when traveling to a race. We got a Speed Hound case and couldn't be more happy. It is extremely high quality, looks awesome, and our bikes will be protected well. We can't say enough good things. We have seen and used tons of products in the bike industry, and this is quality. Highly recommend!

Happy with it
Altogether a good product. Side handles on the ends are a little poorly placed for pulling / rolling the case. I’ll find a way to make it more efficient next time.

Very reasonable price point
Great Bike bag, i was all over Europe with my Bike in the Speed hound bag, and it was great - very safe, no damage after multiple flights/trains/boats and also it was easy to pack and unpack .. plenty of extra space too to throw in the bike gear, shoes and tools etc... very happy with this bag, there are smaller, stronger and fancier ones but they are much more expensive, this is great value for money.

Great bag that travels well
I used this bag for a ride in Michigan in which I flew from Phoenix. The bag is easy to handle in the airport and stores well in the minivan. The greatest advantage to this bag is that you do not have to remove the peddles.Great bag I even bought my nephew a bag for his trip.

Great for traveling
Was able to fit my 54cm bike with minimum disassembly and still had additional room. After two flights to get to my destination and TSA inspected, everything was intact.
