I actually got this to replace a glass lid for a fish aquarium and not as a conversion kit. The hinge on my old lid degraded and was falling apart after only a short time and I didn't want to waste money to get the same thing. I decided this would be a more durable and long-lasting solution and I am not disappointed! It looks amazing and fits the tank rim flawlessly. All I needed to do was modify a corner real quick with a dremel to allow an opening for cords and airlines.UPDATE: Loved this lid so much I bought a second one. I also used acrylic screws to keep it in place rather than silicone. These lids are so perfect for my tanks.

Literally fits perfectly into the aquarium.Looks great. Fat cat proof. I love it. I would 100% recommend to anyone. Without using tubs, I think this may be the best, cheapest, Most durable way to do arboreal geckos. I literally picked up two 10 gal and bought two more converters.

This fits perfectly! It is exactly what I was looking for to convert my 29g into a terrarium for my Whites Tree frogs. This is going to hold in the moisture perfectly.
