This worked really well. I thought the rolls would be too large but they came out perfectly. It is MUCH easier than rolling traditionally and they were nice and tight and easy to cut. I love these and recommend them.

I used to have a “sushezi” and that was easier than bamboo rolling, but this thing is significantly easier!Sure, this thing lets you make round, triangle, heart, big square, and little square -shaped sushi, but I don’t care about any of that. I want to bring sushi into my meal rotation by making it as easy as possible.Easy tips:1) the triangle or half circle is easiest (using the flat/square top to smush down the roll. This allows you to put a plate on top, flip it and have perfectly displayed sushi. Either bottom allows the knife to cut through the entire roll, so that’s less important.2) because you’re packing the rice down, I find that I can use relatively warm rice that I don’t have to rinse down first and it still turns out fine. When I put the water and rice together, little bits of bran float to the top (of at all in the brand i use) so that saves time and steps...again all about easily.3) With this kit, I find that moistening the nori sheet at the center helps me nature the Nori doesn’t break, and I moisten the nori sheet on the ends to bind them together which is pretty standard, but not in the instructions.

I received mine today, and I was curious if it work for me, so I tested it right away. I had some tuna fish salad and left over rice. I used the small one first and it made decent rolls, and next I tried round one put some beef and fried tofu and they are fine. I always just use bamboo roll and I got tired of making sushi rolls..rice sticking unto my hands..This little thing works pretty good. The plastic molds are thick and easy to clean. To me best part is cutting the roll in the mold. Do not leaves mess. I m pleased with this product.
