Best investing ever work ordered me a new crate for home set up but my desk height even at the lowest setting was still to high for the chair I ordered the gas light as per recommendations via rufus arrived the next day took a few minutes to change shd it’s helped increase the height to match my desk if not better Worth the money well spent

I wanted to change my chair because it was too low until I discovered this bigger cylinder. It was easy to install once I finally managed to get the old one out (use proper tools to make it easier on yourself). So far it performs great and it’s actually much higher than I originally expected so the chair can go way past the desk if needed even though I use it on the lowest setting right now. It seem to be universal so it would probably fit on any regular office chair

Works well, good height range, Now rather disappointed, the inner piston moves around, and creaks and bangs. Already needs replacing.

We have an office with tops that are designed for standing and sitting, the office chair we bought only went up enough to a standard office desk height. This was a perfect match for what we needed. Lasted 6 months before this started failing. Drops the height intermittently about an inch at time, takes about 5 minutes before reaching the bottom.

Fits perfectly in a standard chair base, but adds an extra one inch (minimum, when fully lowered) to two inches (fully extended) of height compared to the typical 5.5" piston. I'm tall and this lets me get much more comfortable. I'm also well over 200 lbs but not experiencing any drift/leakage, so the seals are sturdy.

I bought this to increase the height of my chair because the original gas cylinder was short. I can now sit perfectly on the chair with this upgrade. Currently, the cylinder remains sturdy. The installation is quite simple and the only trouble you might face is the removal of the original cylinder.

This was a good replacement cylinder to make my chair higher on an taller desk. It fit my chair perfectly and is smooth to go up and down. Installation was easy and this was my first time replacing a cylinder. No complaints so far, would recomend. Just a general note: If your replacing an older chair I would recommend to buy some lubricant and a pipe wrench. The old chair cylinder was very hard to get out. This new cylinder went in easy.
