This VOLANTEXRC Handheld Magnifying Glass 30X with Light is perfect for my declining eyesight. It is well-made, sturdy, not heavy, but with a solid feel in the hand without feeling bulky. The 30X magnification is quite enough for me and the light is bright enough to help when needed. As a plus, the packaging was a pleasant surprise---secure and with an attractive box for storing. I highly recommend it.

Top ratings for the brightness of the light; that comes in super handy. The glass itself is very high quality but you have to look directly in the middle to get any sharpness. Is rather heavy and bulky. That's why I took off a star. I'm still glad I have it and would recommend it despite the 2 less than optimal things I mentioned. It is a very nice product overall.

I bought this for the magnification. The lights were a bonus. The size is good and the lights work great. For me, it is hard to focus. I really have to work to get a good view of what I am trying to magnify (usually small print.)

I have tried to find before at Rite Aid and Walgreens .... once Amazon, all fails. THIS ONE ROCKS!
