Theres nothing better than Eezox, I live in the tropics, salty. humid and wet...none of my guns ever had a speckle of rust, mix it 50/50 with favorite gun oil, and you will have the best rust, oxidation, fouling protection and lubrication ever found.

Truly the best lubricant for a .22LR. I’ve tried just about everything for my .22 and this is, by far, THE BEST!! Has a dry touch but slippery and doesn’t “gunk” up. I’ve been using it for about 3 years andHighly recommend it. It even has a pleasant scent.

Works, can was rusty? Product is fine

I won't comment on how well this works for lubrication or even long term preservation (although various reviews are out there), but for removing carbon fouling, I don't remember using a better product. If you do order some, clean the part in question well and then clean it again with this. It may be eye-opening.IIRC, the solvent is the same thing that we used to use in the old dry cleaning solvent in my service days. It's nasty stuff. I knocked a star off an otherwise five star review because you really shouldn't use a product like this unless you're in a well ventilated area and you're wearing gloves.I'll comment again in a year or two about how well it preserves, but for removing carbon, I'm not sure that you can do much better than this. I will continue to use it for this purpose if nothing else. (With ventilation and gloves. Did I mention that it's nasty stuff?)

I’ve used EEZOX for years. I think the product is a great protective coating as well as lubricant.

No leaking from can, also wrapped in plastic bag.

This is a great product with great rust inhibitors. I have used it for a while and will continue to use it.
