Atomic Horseradish - Extra Hot - 1 Gal - 128 Ozs

I love hot horseradish and this will torch you up. Best I have ever eaten. It can take your breath away so you have to be mindful of that fact but non the less if you like it hot this is the one to buy. I eat it in Vegas and had to ask the restaurant who made it. You will love it!

Received my large Gallon Jar today and couldn't wait to have my first taste..I could smell the strong horseradish smell before I even untaped the lid area and the sinuses started running....My husband automatically grabbed a small teaspoon and decided to have a taste before I could even warn him to be careful...WOW!! He couldn't believe how hot it actually was.. Made some hamburgers that night and place a "SMALL" amount on our burgers and that still gave it a "punch"...We tend to use homemade hot sauce in many of our recipes, can not substitute with horseradish..My search is finally over and found the great, hot horseradish with "Atomic Horseradish"..I did follow the instructions which does state to stir before using which is what I did..Keeping some in a small jar in my main refrigerator and will be freezing some in small jars (states in instructions to do for future use), handing our some to family members plus the rest is kept in my second refrigerator to avoid constant opening and keep the "hotness" a longer period of time..In the past years have always made our own horseradish from our garden - that was super hot as well but what a pain to do - this certainly is so much easier..Plan on mixing some of my homemade pickled beet juice to some and see how that taste as well - I will use that for when I make my imitation crab dip with horseradish with beet juice and ketchup...Was still cold when I received and received well packaged during transit and the ice packs were melted but still cold!!

WHOA NELLIE!!!! Now this is what I call HOT horseradish!!!! As soon as I opened a jar the very pungent aroma of the horseradish hit my sinuses, even with the bottle two feet away from my nose. Just a little pea sized amount on the tip of a butter knife and I knew that I had found what I was looking for in a hot horseradish. Each bottle comes wrapped individually in a freezer bubble wrap envelope with a cold-pack insert to keep this stuff from combusting on it's own!!!! You have to keep in it in the fridge. It was well worth the effort of reading through all of the ingredients in the various offerings on Amazon to find one prepared horseradish that had the minimum amount of added ingredients: just ground horseradish root, white vinegar, salt, parsnips, and a touch of sugar. What a combination. I am looking forward to trying it on a burger or a steak this weekend. And I will be using it to make my own cocktail sauce and horseradish mustard. The store bought stuff is just too weak for my taste--now I can really fire it up!!!!

So the basic question is, why buy Horseradish online? I first had this horseradish at the Steakhouse at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. I was blown away with how hot it was! So I thought I would order it online. Save your money. This stuff was milder than what i can buy at the grocery store.

Um, the main ingredient is parsnips, and who cares. Just rec'd, opened and sniffed, and nostrils are still smoking.
