How many items are being delivered to me?

3 - if it’s the bundle of 2 mats & iron silicone thingy

Is this suitable for mother's day gift?

It depends. Does your mother like practical gifts? Does she sew or quilt a lot? Does she always hesitate to buy things for herself that she wants or needs? If yes, then I say go for it!

can you use a heat press when doing heat transfers on t shirts?

What like the cricut press? Probably but you have to be careful of what’s under the mat, the heat/(steam ) goes through it.

How is the best way to store the mat?

It just store it flat to make sure it doesn’t get bent.
