PresaMetal Peg Board Shelving Hooks, 2-inch, 25-pack

These are terrific peg hooks, they feel like quality items and fit the pegboard perfectly. I like that you can get them in several lengths (this review is for the 2" but I have also purchased the 4" and those are equally excellent). I am using them for tools in the garage but they look good enough that you could use them for store displays, etc and the price is much better than I can get at the local big box store for much lower quality peg hooks. I had to cut the ball off the end of one for one specific tool and it took some cutting to do so - these things are made of sturdy stuff! Will definitely order these again if I need more.

These Presa 2” single arm pegboard hooks (25-pak) are sturdy & look exactly like the ad photo.The wire diameter is 0.205” – typical for hooks that fit ¼-inch pegboard. The ad incorrectly states, “designed to fit 1/8” holes” – should be “For ¼-inch pegboard – 0.205” (5.21 mm) dia. wire”.I prefer the hook arm to be horizontal & these angle upward because the arm’s bend is greater than 90 degrees (as photo shows) and the wire will definitely NOT flex down due to the weight of typical items you would hang. But, I reworked all the hooks by clamping tightly in a vise where the weld is - with the arm above the vise jaws & the short end that rests against the pegboard out a bit from the side of the jaws; a few blows with a hammer on that short end makes the bend 90 degrees without breaking any welds (I reworked Presa 4” hooks the same way). With the 2” hook installed on pegboard, the horizontal part of the arm is 1.9” from the pegboard & 3.0 – 3.1” to ball’s end. An item needs a hole larger than 5/16” to fit over the ball.

These hooks are fine when using a single hook at a time. They are true to size and fit thin pegboard like Wall Controll metal pegboard nicely.These hooks don't work so well if you need to use two hooks next to each other to support something on both sides. The welds that hold the two pieces of metal together for each hook are inconsistent and result in each hook being a totally unique shape. One sticks slightly up, the next one sticks slightly down, left, right, etc. It's nearly impossible to find two hooks that are identical and that means no two hooks will be level.If you don't need the hooks to match each other, these are a decent buy.

First let me say these measure 3-1/16" from the metal peg board, so this did not work for my application as I have a space of 2-3/4". Marked off one star for not measuring what is advertised.Other than the measurements being off what is advertised this is a very good product. If you do not have the space requirements then they will hold a lot of weight. They stay in 1/4" peg board very well and will not fall out as smaller ones tend to do.Update:I have changed my initial rating from 4 to 5 stars as they allowed me to return the product for a full refund.

First, they arrived in a shrink wrapped box, not just thrown in a plastic bag. They are very sturdy and straight, unlike some of the cheaper peg board accessories that you are afraid they will fall out. The only thing to watch out for is the ball on the end of the hook. A small hole on an item you want to hang may not fit over the end. It is perfect for my application though. They are also for 1/4" peg board holes. You may have a difficult time putting them in a 1/8" hole. Overall, it is a great product that should last for many years.

I like these a lot. They are heavy duty and seem pretty stable when installed in a sheet metal peg board. My only critique would be that the nob on the end is so fat, that a 1/4 inch box end wrench won’t go through it, so you can’t hang an entire wrench set on them. Works great for the larger wrenches though.

Unlike other peg hooks that are supposed to fit both 1/8" and 1/4" peg boards and easily fall out of the more common 1/4" peg boards, these stay put. Another feature that I like that others may not is the little ball at the end of the hook, which keeps items securely hanging and has no sharp edges. For some, the extra diameter of the ball will force you to expand the holes in some of your tools and paintbrushes. No big deal to me. I'd order these again.

I have seen several reviews that panned these pegboard hooks because of consistency/quality issues. I have now used half the box and have had no issues. I did not empty the entire box on a table and inspect each with calipers. I just grabbed what I needed out of the box. And, they were all perfect.So, if you are on the fence about buying these hooks, take the plunge. They are just fine.

Welded perfectly. Everything was straight and even. Worked perfectly with my pegboard and I appreciated the little ball at the end. These are great quality. Nice and strong.

Hooks are solid and sturdy. Always was full description for the width. Part said 1/8” then 1/4”.

These work perfectly. I use them to hold different grit sandpapers and I like that they are shorter and don't stick out too much

After purchasing a cheaper item, and then having to return it (very good service from Amazon) I purchased these, which were perfect.
