I bought the Friendship Poems, Love Poems, and Spiritual Poems versions of this book all at once, making it my first set of poetry books. And I love them. The poems are beautiful and insightful. As someone who is half Persian, reading these works gave me a sense of connection to my roots, which made the experience even more special.

There’s such a gorgeous depth and simplicity in Rumi. A feeling of aloneness and yet never being alone with hope in the divine, the beloved. There joy and love are always found even in the darkest of moments.

This book is fantastic! Aesthetically pleasing, great hardcover, beautiful illustrations and wonderful poetry. His poetry so easily resonates and will have you thinking. Great to give as a gift to a poetry lover.
