I ordered Peruvian Palo Santo sticks. They’re coming today. A friend gave me some couple days ago and what a wonderful aroma. I prefer not burning the whole stick so when it does go out on its own, it’s usually enough and when relighting I scraped the old charcoal off with a sharp knife takes moment, and it burns beautifully again.

I’ve been burning these weekly since I’ve been going through a tough time. I have noticed an overall improvement in my moods but I’ve also been diving more deeply into my spirituality at the same time. I love the smell. Reminds me of safe but maybe with a faint clove smell. Not sure what it is but it’s nice. I recite positive affirmations while burning. Hope they bring you joy. Also keep in mind that it rough to keep these lit so you have have to keep relighting but I don’t mind.

Burn time is really quick. These sticks are gone fast. Don't last long at all. I have bought some before from another company and they last longer, but the sticks were also thicker. I'm not a Palo Santo expert, but IDK I feel like they are burned and gone way too quickly.

So this is my first time trying to burn these sticks in general and honestly I didn't do too much digging into what the exact scent of it is. My brain was simply like "oh, wood smell good, yay!" The best way I personally can describe the smell is a slight wormwood? Licorice? Sweet? Just a quick little light on the corner of one filled my whole living room up with fragrance so they are potent! While it does remind me of a shot of absinthe that sort of makes me shiver, I can say it does the job well. 5 stars because my house does smell like palo santo now haha. I'll learn to love it, I'm sure.

The wood smells like soap which is not expected, almost like its been washed in a hand soap and the residue remains on the wood. When I burn it lights up easily and smells like Palo Santo. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't smell like soap
