I bought this for my grandson because I wanted to record something for him and he loves my glow worm. I looked up the directions online and it was easy. I sang my song to him and recorded a message to him. My daughter says he sleeps with it every night and they squeeze the belly and he listens to my song and message. It’s cute

My boys loved both of these. Made the dark feel less scary. The worm's face glows when your child cries and either plays music alone or plays your recorded message and then music. The settings are in the back under a Velcro closure. Also, if your child squeezes it, it will also come on and play. It runs on batteries and for the most part lasted pretty long. The voice recording doesn't change between battery changes-it stays the same. We loved the Glo-Worm!

I purchased this item to give as a gift for a co-worker's baby shower in the office. It looks amazing but I will admit I was surprised that when it was delivered in the Amazon bag it was just an unmarked looking gold colored cardboard box that had the place go logo on it. But after reading the description here it seems that playschool attended it to be built-in gift wrap which is cool so I'll just slap on a pretty pink bow and greeting card and leave it the way it is. Very smart play school very smart. I had intended to buy her baby the traditional glow worm but when I saw that this was an existing or new product I could not resist. Such a cool concept to be able to soothe the baby.

I Was So Surprised To Find A Glow Worm... When My Son Was A Baby I Called Him My Lil Glow Worm... I'm A Little Disappointed That I Couldn't Record Sound Off A Video On My Phone... It Will Pick Up My Voice Nice And Clear Tho! The Quality Is Very Nice, He's Super Cute, Wasn't Expensive At All, The Body Is So Soft, It's A Gift For My Grandbaby, My FIRST GRANDBABY!!! Yay! She’s cute, smaller than expected. I love the cry detector feature - but using it eats up the batteries. Like you will need to change them at least once a week. Oh! And way too loud! Holy moly. I had to put tape on the speaker just to not WAKE up the baby. Kind of misses the point and there’s no way to adjust the volume.

My daughter sleeps with this every night and it works miracles! So my daughter sleeps in a crib in her own room, but she breastfed through the night (like every 2-4 hours) until she was 15 months old. So I was getting a little sick of being up every single time she made a noise to nurse her back to sleep. I’m not saying this toy sleep trained her because it didn’t, however, it did make a huge difference. Instead of her getting worked up every time she woke up crying it would go off my recorded shushing would start and sometimes it would put her straight back to sleep. Since then we decided to bite the bullet and sleep train and having something she was used to sleeping with that has my voice recorded in it made a huge difference both for her and for my peace of mind. She now sleeps with it every night and loves it. Yes it can be slightly glitchy at times, but the positives outweigh the negatives for me. Totally worth the money!

My 2mo old nephew LOVES his GloWorm! We had them when we were younger. Love to see him engage with it.

I bought my daughter one when she was 2 years old. She never was seen without her glow worm doll. I actually looked this up and shocked it was still around. My granddaughter loves her glow worm doll. And like my daughter it's her new favorite, always carrying it with her. You really can't buy the joy I got seeing the kiddo like dajvour that must be French for deja vu lmao 😂
