INSL-X Tough Shield Floor and Patio Paint, Gray Pear, 1 Gallon

If you’re considering getting this, just buy it. Goes on like butter. Excellent coverage even with just one coat. Great adhesion with little to no prep. Color is absolutely beautiful. I tried several other stains/paints, the old deck wood just sucked it up and it was uneven, difficult to apply, and was just bad. This paint dries in no time. Each can goes such a long way, such great quality for the money. Took minutes to cover my whole deck with a long handle brush. Was kicking myself for not buying sooner. Has held up well to pets/sun/rain/etc.

This particular color, pearl grey, was beautiful! I cant say whether or not they are all so wonderful or whether i have regard for the brand in particular but let me say this: The paint always arrived ( i say always because i ordered at least 5 gallons of this over the course of 2 years) in professional condition. It was boxed with care and i could see obvious signs of extra measures to ensure that it arrived as such which is honestly, kind of nice to see. There were included tools with the gallon of paint. A paint can opener and stir stick. The paint itself goes on like a dream and i originally just painted my porch which to be honest wasnt that impressive but wasnt bad either. I decided to match the trim on the house with it and something about that pearl in the gray just hides flaws well and its just enough pearl that it has a beautiful affect once dry and it blends so seamlessly that i caught myself actually making these observations aloud as i would get a section finished. I think it is the most beautiful looking paint ive ever used and it is a bit more expensive than some but it is very comparable and definetly not as pricey as many of the others i saw out there. It is meant for porches it is made more durable for that purpose and make sure you let the first coat cure completely before painting on another. This may take quite some time if you are looking to get your painting done in a weekend then this wouldnt be the one. I made the mistake of not heeding that and it didnt withstand the foot traffic but the next time i did it i let it dry as recommended and it was a complete different effect. It is great durable paint with a beautiful finish and i live for art and for color and i am telling you this is beautiful. I should also mention that it was not stunning until i saw the second coat completely dry. I was happy to have chosen this paint and i happily recommend it to all. Wide variety of uses other than porch and floor surfaces so that makes it awesome as well.

This floor paint is amazing. I bought the sand color and it was used on a scruffy front porch floor which is concrete. The paint covered so well and even filled in a crack that was in the floor. It just makes the porch look so much better! It is also tough as nails! I waited two hours and then brought the porch furniture back in and mistakenly dragged a metal glider over the floor and I expected to see scratches... but there were none. I definitely recommend this product!

Pretty good after second coat on wood. Don’t dry brush at all or it pulls.

I'm so happy I went with this paint for my porch! The color is exactly what I was expecting. The picture is only one coat and it covered everything. The finish is perfect. And it went on pretty easily and smooth for the rugged and porous surface I painted. I just hope it lasts. I'm doing a second coat tomorrow, I have high hopes it will. Update: (mid November) it held up well for the spring, and summer and the fall. Some cons being it gets dirty really easy, like every dirty footprint shows up and sticks. but it's not too bad to clean with a wet rag. I had a couple spots the furniture picked up with it but nothing a touch up didn't remedy. I should have waited til the winter to update to see how it holds up during an east coast winter but I think it'll be fine. I might do a light re-coat and seal it though next spring, I recommend it but don't find it super necessary depending on the surface you're painting. It is never a bad idea, though.

I hoping this stands up to the test. That it last more than one year. This is my third product to try.painted one board at a time after pressure washing and sanding old paint . It went down easy and thickness is nice. Dried to the touch quick. The value is about the same as others. The higher price ones, I used sucked. The reviews made me try,crossing my fingers

Used this late fall to paint my deck, looked great! Applied very easily and seem to hold up pretty well to the rain. I did notice that when it would get wet it would not have an even looking color for a few hours as it dried. Fast forward to the beginning of spring, some of the scratches from the ice and the snow are starting to become more noticeable, as well as some wear and chipping along the steps and high traffic spots
