Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick - 32 - Merlot

Ok! So, if you are shopping 29 Congo Brown - you know its going to be dark right? I hope so! Because it definitely is. And that is why I love it!!! For my skin tone especially, I think its quite the marriage of brown and crimson red :D Its looks so dramatic and edgy. I feel like its makes you seem quite mysterious and enticing... LOL! Or I'm projecting because thats how I feel when I wear it :)I will be honest and tell you that you do need to apply it more often. I'm not sure if you need to apply it more often because its a dark color - so the moment it wears, it's noticeable. I also drink a lot of water. I use a straw, but even still, it seems to wear. I also talk a lot so... lol... It could be completely user error issue. Either way, if you want to wear the look all day, I would take it with you while on your outing. I included a picture of me unedited... This is probably about a good 2 - 3 coats. I used a brush to apply the outer lip instead of using a lip liner. Its a Matte lipstick, so it will naturally make your lips feel a bit dry. Or at least mine did. So after taking off, I recommend a lip scrub or taking your toothbrush and brushing your lips. I have never worn a lipstick that has been so efficient at staying on my lips ALL night. I applied before I left the house and brought it with in case I needed to reapply (I was at a costume party). I kept going to check in the mirror and was astonished that it hasn't budged and was not faded at all. I'm not a lipstick guru by any means so maybe I'm gushing for no reason but this stuff makes me want to start wearing lipstick regularly."Bossanova Purple" is the color I had. Was a nice matte finish. Highly recommend.

This is a gorgeous shade of red. I love the color, the price is great, it shipped very quickly & it's very moisturizing for a matte lipstick. It would get a perfect rating if it lasted longer. I haven't tried it yet with primer or anything under the lipstick, but just the lipstick comes off almost instantly. Blotting doesn't help it last any longer. It smears under any gloss applied on top of it & transfers to anything my lips touch. I still rate it highly, though, because I love the shade, the lipstick applies/reapplies very easy & I can extend the color life by drinking through a straw and/or carefully eating small bites of food with a fork.

The color shown on the website looks matte and very rich in color. I was excited to try this product because I had been searching for a deep rich red color for the longest time. Well the product was neither rich in color or matte. It was more on the creamy glossy side and the color wasn't what I thought it would be. The lipstick was very creamy in texture and it applied effortlessly. However, it had a nasty taste and I didn't care for the smell either. I look forward to a more matte texture in future purchases and hopefully no aftertaste.

I purchased the black color lipstick for my Halloween costume. It went on smooth and gave a good coverage. Cheaper black lipsticks need coat after coat but this one only really needed one or two applications. It didn't feel heavy or waxy. It stayed on unless I drank or ate. It did not get on my teeth or in any fine lines. I think it was well worth the price.

I bought 4 colors because of the awesome price and non-drying ingredients. I hate to buy lipstick online because you can't test the colors until delivery, and you generally can't return a lipstick once you've tried it. This online experience has not disappointed me! I have medium tan skin with natural lip colors that range from dark pink to brownish red, and I've been looking for good colored lipsticks to create a natural makeup look in a long time. The only experience that caused me to knock off a star was that 3 out of 4 of my lipsticks were overfilled and stuck to the lipstick top. It's kinda a bummer to see a blunted lipstick tip staring back at you the first time you open up the thing!

I was looking for a good purple lipstick to replace my favorite Revlon Purple shade which they no longer make. While it looked good on the computer, in real life this product isn't very good.1. When I opened it the lipstick was stuck in the lid, not on the bottom side. I pried it out and pieced it back together.2. The color is more gray/purple.I guess it's just old stuff. Kept it for creepy color for Halloween for the kids as opposed to an every-day color for an adult

Sehr schöne kräftige Farbe. Hält lange. Würde ich sofort noch mal kaufen und würde ich auch jedem weiter empfehlen. Genial.

Très déçue. . Le rouge à lèvres dessèche les lèvres. ...de plus il s'enlève de son étui au bout de 3 utilisations !je déconseille ! .

Franchement pour le prix, pas déçu!Il assèche un peu les levee mais en mettant du labello avant c'est top, effet garanti, bien couvrant et foncé!
