This stuff is amazing. It stripped all the paint off my tiles, then I got carried away and stripped the paint from the frame around my mirror. I find myself walking around the house wondering which paint to strip next. It was so easy to use and no terrible smell like other brands. Can't wait to try it on my banister next. Just be careful where you splatter it because it is a bit runny. I've still got one and a half tubs left out of the two I bought, after stripping an entire kitchen worth of tiles and a large frame so it's very good value for momey

It was OK but not as good as I expected after reading most of the reviews on here. To be fair I was using it on an external sandstone porch windowsill that had a good few layers of paint on it. It removed most of the layers of paint after applying a coat each day over four days and scraping it off but eventually I used the sander on it. Maybe for items that only have a light layer of varnish or paint on them it's successful.

Apsolutley brilliant 👏 👌 I bought this after reading lots of reviews about other brands. I decided on this one as it was non-toxic and odourless. And safe to use indoors. I bought it because the last tenant in my property decided to primer and gloss. The kitchen doors, which are mdf. They looked awful and I couldn't wait to get the pain off. I didn't have high hopes as I knew. This would be a big job. However, this has brain brilliant. I layed it on with a paint brush and left for 10 to 15 minutes. I watched it bubble and used a paint. Remove a scraper. The paint came off really easily with some stubborn places. However, applying a bit more Extra 2 these areas came off beautifully. Now it is a messy job. Regardless, so dust sheets are recommended and stages of removal as the paint does come off. Sticky gloves are a must, but if you are looking to remove some paint then this is your go to. I have since purchased 2 more pots

Ok so I bought this to renovate original doors for my flat. It claims to be odourless and non toxic and efficient. My thought process was why bother using my hot gun when I can just splatter this over the doors, wait an hour and peel it off. Plus I have 4 cats so the non toxic element was a plus. In reality this is useless for its purpose. The only plus is that it was delivered swiftly (mind you, I spent £22 to get the bigger pot and get a next day delivery). And it is non toxic and doesn’t smell. But that’s about it. Might have as well put moisturiser on my doors, it’s that ineffective. I put it on with a brush to make sure I got even and thorough coverage. Waited an hour. Barely peeled ( not even like when you peel off dead skin from a sunburn). It slightly bubbled in places but nothing to be impressed about. And yes I tried with a scrapper and the wired sponge they recommend. So I tried again, applying more, leaving it longer. Same thing. I thought maybe it will work better on metal so I applied it to the original door handles as someone had slapped paint all over them too, to see. Same thing a.k.a pointless. I eventually gave up because I had 2 doors to deal with ( I actually got a third one but at this point I am trying not to lose the will to live); I picked up my old hot gun and paint just came off like a dream. I really wanted this to work but unfortunately it didn’t. I lost hours and money I won’t get back. Might work on fine furniture to remove wax or light varnish but defo not fit if you need to remove layers of paint. NB: sorry I thought I had another picture to share but I can’t find it.

Brilliant! I originally bought this product due to the low price. I thought if it didn't work, at least I hadn't spent a lot of money. I purchased it in 2023, put it in the cupboard, and completely forgot about it until two nights ago. I am redecorating my hallway, stairs, and landing, and needed to remove 6 layers of gloss wood paint from my bannister (handrail). Armed with a paintbrush, gloves, and clingfilm, I went to work. It was easy to apply and did not drip. I wrapped as I moved down the stairs, applying the stripper generously. It has a smell, but it's not unpleasant or overpowering. Be careful not to get it on your skin. I absent-mindedly touched my face with my gloves, and the skin started to sting immediately. A quick wipe using cold water and everything was fine, no burn or marks. I left my bannister wrapped up with product for 24 hours, and the results were fantastic! Removal was as quick and easy as applying it. The stripper removed all layers of paint, and in places, some of the varnish on the wood. If you enjoy peeling things, you will love this part of the process. It was VERY satisfying! I am planning to do one covering, leaving for a few hours only, to remove the varnish, before I repaint it. I've attached some before-and-after photos. I highly recommend this product.

I thought I was buying a completely different make, that is my fault for not making sure what i was buying, I just looked at the size and thought that is a bigger tub than I can buy locally. It wasn't until it arrived that I realised the mistake, but I thought well if it works as well it doesn't matter. I followed the instructions and it bubbled up but did not take the paint off, also it is hard to take off I tried using a scraper and it barely touched it. It came away wet and dose stain if it touches carpet and though it doesn't drip from the doors it does drip very easy from the brush when putting on. I tried leaving it on overnight but it was just the same sticking to the door but not taking the paint off. it is very hard to take off door frames which have patterns and curves even though the scrapper goes in the stuff just seems to stick and every thing becomes one big mess. I didn't find any smell and I didn't find any irritation when it hit my skin I just found it hard to work with and not good for purpose

Works really well I used it outside on my porch renovation in the sun it dries fast so I used cling film and it took off two to three layers of paint good for trickier parts

Results were mixed. Some areas it removed the paint well and then on a spot right next to it it just left a gooey mess that wouldn't scrape off. Used on old wooden staircase. No strong smell which was good.
