Can i use a different brand rechargeable battery attery brand other than ebl brand on this charger?

Yea. I have used other brand rechargeables without a problem.

How many watts does the charger draw? Does it depend on how many batteries are charging? What is the max wattage drawn with all 8 ports charging?

That's a lot of technical stuff best answered by the seller. After getting this device, I now love dependable Duracell rechargeable batteries. Get my drift?

Do you have to leave the batteries in the charger after fully charged? When i take them out and go to use them a week later they did not hold the char

Once they're charged, remove them from the charger. Unfortunately, rechargeable batteries tend to slowly discharge even while not being used. That's just an inherent condition. I would suggest that several hours before the next time you plan on using the batteries to recharge them. I use my batteries every week, once a week, for about an hour each time, and this is what I do, and they seem to work well by doing this.

These batteries are not charging. i sit the aaa's in the slots and they don't charge, or charge very little and run out in a day or two. what's up?

Are you sure that you plugged them into AAA slot and not AA?
