Depression Bipolar Disorder 3ed (Essential Psychopharmacology Series)

Stahl has produced another terrific book that explains Bipolar and Depression in terms that non-clinicians can understand.I bought this book based on my desire for relevant information on BP. I have found the images of neuronal/brain activity that accompany most topics in the book to be extremely helpful and germaine to a full comprehension. The major pharmaceuticals used to treat the disorders are explained in detail, as well as their mechanism of action.I would recommend this book to people affected with BP and Depression that have a faily high reading level ability.

This is not an original book- just part of the complete guide. No new information disappointing

Describes bipolar depression I and II as well as others considered on the "spectrum." Recently diagnosed with bipolar depression, I do not identify as I or II. This book explains that it's not as cut and dry as I and II, but there's also a II 1/2, III and IV. Very helpful read to understand my own diagnosis.

These series of books are great! easy to understand and an excellente book of consults.the quality of the book is just excellent!I recommend it.
