Great, works well in removing the salts and other more smaller impurities and pushes them out as drainage water. Overall it works as advertised. No problems.

Delivers a TDS of about 4 at 70 pounds of pressure using softened well water at 55 degrees F. Raising the water temperature to about 77 degrees moves the output TDS to 7 or 8.Keep in mind that the TDS meter is certainly not the last word in accuracy but a rough indicator.

I've been using AMI membranes for close to 10 years and have always been happy with them. My tap water has a TDS of 557 and after the membrane it's down to 13. That works out to 97.66% rejection rate!Yes they cost a bit more than others on Amazon, but they're worth it. I run this for my 150Gal Reef aquarium and the DI resin lasts 4-6 months. I once tried a cheaper membrane once to save some money, but it only ended up having a 90% rejection rate (Sold as >96% rejection) which made me burn through my DI resin in a month.

Purchased to have a spare when current RO membrane needs replacement. First time buying this brand, but all other RO membranes from other manufacturers purchased previously shipped in a vacuum sealed bag, this came in a thin sealed bag but it wasn't vacuumed. I'll find out once I use it but this costs more than previous membranes, and so not a good impression about the brand.

I upgraded from a 18gpd which lasted longer than the 12 month warranty to a 100gpd. Better flow.If you have trouble aligning the filter into the back of the housing you can use the handle of a wooden spoon in the filter to help guide it in place. Will buy from American Membranes again.
