Rustic MAKA Natural Deodorant, Calming Fields, Aluminum Free, Baking Soda Free

I found this brand in a small indie beauty shop in Ann Arbor about 6 years ago. I am so glad that I picked it up and gave it a sniff. I was immediately sold. The price is right, it’s a great quality and texture for being natural, and the brand is based in Michigan. They recently changed from a round stick to a more traditional oval stick, and while I preferred the old shape, it doesn’t effect the performance of this deodorant at all. It keeps my underarms dry and smelling nice all day, which I cannot say about other natural brands. I will never use anything but this deodorant again! I love it that much. Other reviews say that it stains their shirts but I’ve never had that problem. I apply a thin coat daily, and it’s never left residue on my shirts.

This is by far my favorite natural deodorant. I love the smell and I love the performance. It doesn’t cause me any irritation to my skin which is awesome. It doesn’t stain my clothes at all. It is easy to apply, goes on clear and not white, and isn’t super sticky feeling. It lasts all day even though I might sweat. I love this scent and the mango!

This is the best alternative deodorant that I've been able to find. Smells great and works well.

I was thrilled to try this deodorant due to the reviews however my experience was not quite pleasant. First, the thickness is just horribly thick, difficult to remove at night. Second, I feel as if I’m rubbing sand on my armpit when I apply this deodorant- awkward? . Third, it does not last and I don’t do much activity nor do I perspire much. The scent is nice but the deodorant is not effective for me. It’s so hard trying to find an organic deodorant. Will keep looking. . .

I was very skeptical when I bought this. I sweat A LOT and normally use Mens deodorant. I’ve used this for a week so far and have ZERO BO!!! I did read online to use a pore cleansing mask first and used a bentonite mask on my underarms and have used this deodorant since so that may have helped with not having any BO. I definitely recommend this product!

I work for whole foods market in Indiana and I received a test sample of this deodorant. It became my favorite thing I've ever used instantly! I'm sad I can't purchase it at my location but I have to have it! I have bought through directly and this is the first I've purchased through amazon. This is totally worth a try if you are on the fence about it. I work hard and I work long hours. I still smell and feel beautiful with this. Lavender is my favorite scent. It is calming even from something like this. Beautiful product.

Excited to find a non-toxic deodorant that works great! I put the deodorant on this morning and haven't had to reapply. And can I just mention that I live in Texas where we are approaching triple digit heat! I went for a brisk walk this evening, had a little bit of wetness, but the best part was I never had an odor. Love this product

I loved this deodorant! Unfortunately, this last time I bought it, it burned my armpit and made it extremely itchy. I figured I just randomly developed an allergy and gave it to my daughter. After my daughter used it today she complained of her armpits burning and itching badly.
