Excellent Quality
I was looking for a nice sized crossbody bag and this is it. It is an excellent size to hold all of my everyday essentials and the pockets are well thought out and truly organize my items to make them easy to reach and well protected. The stitching is well done, the canvas is very sturdy and the lining is soft but durable. I purchased the green bag and the color is excellent - it literally goes with everything. I've found my perfect bag!

Very good bag for carrying my everyday gear with one odd design choice that is easy to work around
UPDATE 7/3/25:So I used this bag for over a year and then switched over to a larger messenger bag and now a backpack because I "needed" to carry more stuff. But sometimes there are situations where a bigger bag isn't feasible, so I recently pulled this bag back out and use it occasionally. So looking at it again with somewhat fresh eyes, I have some thoughts.- The metal logo plate on the front came off quite some time ago. While the plate itself feels pretty substantial, and looks reasonably attractive despite me not being a fan of loud branding, it is attached to the bag by four small, very thin prongs on the back that poke into the fabric of the flap. When I say "prongs", think like the prongs on the inside of a back-to-school folder. One broke and that corner would get snagged on things sometimes, so when I looked at it and saw it was just little prongs holding it in, I realized it was easy to remove. So, if you want to remove it, it shouldn't be difficult. There are very minor aesthetic blemishes if you do; a couple of the tiny holes in the fabric the prong poke into. I find them to be easy to overlook, but I totally understand if that bothers some people. But, say, if you were wanting to affix your own pins/buttons, it would be easy enough to remove the logo plate intentionally. But even if you don't, it may not last forever since the prongs holding it on are fairly thin and flimsy.- I talked about it a lot in my original review, but I'm still so confounded about the metal pieces (zipper to secret pocket and ESPECIALLY the metal D-ring) inside of the protective tablet sleeve. The tablet sleeve is pretty well padded but then they put metal pieces in there that could scratch your tablet. It's easy enough to work around; if you have an always-on case/cover on your device, it's not much of an issue (this bag is what made me finally get that kind of case after years of using the device bare), you can put a notebook (b5-size) in the pocket with your tablet as a buffer. Or, as I recently did, you can go overboard and take some bolt cutters to that d-ring and remove it entirely. The zipper will still be there, but as unnecessary as it is, I find it a little less worrisome than the D-ring. Still, decent sleeves for your devices are a rarity in bags at this price range and this bag has a pretty nice one and I still wish they hadn't negated that benefit with those unnecessary "secret" metal pieces.- The size is great and it's comfortable to carry. It's a very compact bag, and while I do find myself wishing it was just a little bit bigger, because I carry too many things even when I streamline my EDC load for this smaller bag, and because I'd like to be able to carry an A4-sized sketchbook, objectively this bag is deceptively roomy. I can fit a LOT in here! I am stretching it to its limit because I want to carry a bit too much, but it can hold a lot more than just the bare essentials. And the strap is basic; no padding, just a strap of canvas like the rest of the bag. But it's not uncomfortable to wear. I don't wear it for stretches of time, like walking around all day, so it would probably be more fatiguing after a while if you carry as heavy a load as I do, but in realistic practice for me and how I use it now, it's comfortable and unobtrusive.- Organization is really nice. I've spent the past year looking at higher-end backpacks and bags, looking for ones that have organization for all of my gear built-in in a way I would find convenient. I don't like having to carry lots of extra pouches and I don't like having to navigate lots of extra pockets. This bag is very nice for me organization wise. Yeah, I wish it had one more pocket (not that there's anywhere it would fit) but I'm able to organize my gear easily and logically. The inside main pocket has 2 slip pockets and 2 pen loops. Slip pockets in cheap bags can be kind of iffy, but these are great. The right size/depth/tightness to hold things like my travel mouse, my usb power pack, a business card case and a compact tablet stand. (Doubling up 2 items in each pocket) Those pockets being in the same compartment as most of my other gear is very convenient; I can reach in and pull out my tablet and its stand and a notebook and pen all at once without having to flip around to other pockets piecemeal. That said, there are 2 more pockets. There's a pocket on the outside of the flap. The flap is mostly aesthetic, since the opening to the main compartment is a zipper BEHIND the flap. But the positive is that the pocket on the flap is great for quick access items, like tissues, hand sanitizer, glasses cloth, etc. Easy to get into when wearing the bag or when the bag is sitting on the seat next to me.Then there's another pocket on the front under the flap. I'm using this as my tech/cables pocket - usb charger, usb cables, adapters, etc. On bigger bags I wish this pocket could be inside the bag, but on this one there's no room for it to fit inside and honestly it's not a hassle to get into this pocket on this bag.I wish there was one more pocket because I carry a small pouch with some assorted small items (just-in-case gear like a toothbrush, etc) and the pouch reduces some of the tidiness of the bag.- The opening to the main bag is okay but getting to the tablet sleeve is a little more of a hassle when the bag is full. The zipper is more towards the front of the top panel, so you kind of have to dig under that top panel/flap to get to the back where your tablet is. Not usually a big deal until you pack the bag full, and then it can take a little more effort to cram your bag back in there. I wonder if it would have been easier if the zipper were more in the middle of that top part, but I don't know if that would make it harder to get to the small organization pockets in the main compartment. Not a big deal, but thought I'd mention it.- As much as I detest the D-ring inside the tablet sleeve, I love the D-ring on the outside of the bag. Space is at a premium for me in this bag, so that external lash point lets me carry hand sanitizer, earbuds (in a case) and a collapsible tote bag all from carabiners hooked on. Other bags might only have a fabric loop or a plastic piece to clip onto, but this metal D-ring is easiest to use to external carry a couple small items and save a little bit of space inside.I have tried a couple other small bags in this price range, trying to find one that is just a tiny bit bigger so I can fit my full-sized (A4) sketchbook instead of putting a tiny one in this bag as I do now, and the other ones I've tried have not been made this well, weren't nearly as tidy with useful organization and weren't any bigger enough anyway. The organization, comfort and capacity of this very small bag are great. If they would just take out the extra metal bits inside the tablet sleeve it would be almost flawless (for this price range).Still, I'm finding it useful to carry again, now and then, when I don't feel like hauling my bigger backpack around. Hopefully these longer-term observations will be helpful.----ORIGINAL REVIEW:I've been using this bag for a few months now so I figured it's time to write my thoughts.I'm very long-winded, but the gist of it is that I really like the bag, though it has couple odd design choices that I don't like but are easy enough to mitigate/work around. My use case is that I'm an artist and like to carry gear around so I can draw or write or do whatever on my ipad whenever I'm out and about. I tend to get carried away being over-prepared and carried around larger bags (a regular laptop backpack and a small timbuk2 classic messenger) and while that served me well in the past, my current situation has led to carrying a bigger bag around to be too much and trying to just carry my ipad and some other stuff in my hands was inconvenient, so I wanted a smaller bag that was easy to carry around everywhere that I could scale down my everyday carry and still have everything I need.I've settled on carrying my 2018 10.5" ipad, a folding bluetooth keyboard, a mouse, 1-2 notebooks, a small sketchbook, art supplies, a usb power pack, cables/accessories, a small umbrella and some boring necessities like meds and tissues, etc. (Believe or not this is my scaled back setup! Yikes.)This bag is a good, unobtrusive size, but it still carries a LOT. It's nice because it has some structure to it but it's not too rigid. I've used another bag in the past with a slim, rectangular shape but it had too much structure and even though it was bigger than this bag, it held less and was impossible to fit any non-flat items. This bag is structured enough to make putting notebooks, tablet, etc. in easy and keeps them from jostling around, but it's soft and forgiving enough that you can fit irregular-shaped stuff (like my small travel mouse) with ease, which I like.I like how it looks, too. I'd say the color is pretty accurate to the picture on this page. I like that it isn't a nylon, school-backpack look, but it's not super fancy leather either. Obviously your tastes and sense of aesthetics will be your own, but in any case the images provided are accurate to help you make the decision. The flashiest part of this is the metal logo plate attached to the front which fits the bag and isn't distracting. The inside has a pocket in the back with padding (on the inner [away from your body] side, at least) for a tablet that fits my 2018 10.5" ipad with no issues. From what I can tell, the current 11" ipad air is the same dimensions as my old ipad, if that frame of reference helps. My 11" chromebook laptop did not fit comfortably so it's strictly a tablet bag. The pocket also has some organizer pockets on the inside of the front which then a good amount of space in the main area of the pocket. No complaints about the space available and it's easy to load up pull items out from. The biggest thing that rubs me the wrong way is that in the back of the inside padded tablet pocket, there's a hidden zipper pocket and a metal d-ring, identical to the one you see on the front of the bag to attach keys/carabiners to. I find this design choice to kind of negate the protective tablet pocket - you put your tablet in there to protect it but then there's a metal zipper and D-ring to rub against your tablet. It seems kind of self-defeating to have metal pieces there that could scratch up your expensive tablet. That said, it's easy enough to work around. In my other, bigger bags, I carried my ipad in a separate, padded, kinda bulky sleeve to protect it. It would not fit in this bag and I didn't expect/want it to. But apart from that, I don't have a permanent case attached to my tablet like a lot of people do. So if you have a standard case you clip your tablet into that covers the screen and back (the standard, inexpensive cases you'll see if you search "ipad case"), I don't imagine you need to worry - that should protect the screen or back of your ipad from the zipper and keyring. My solution was to put one of my notebooks (size b5) in that pocket, between the back of the bag and my ipad, so my tablet isn't rubbing against metal, and it gives me no trouble. The notebooks I use are b5-sized, not a standard US-sized notebook, though I just tested with a regular composition book (the ones with the marbled black-and-white we'd use in school) and it fits well, too. That's the only real "negative" I have about this bag - there's not a good reason to have those metal elements in the protective pocket. That said, it's easy enough to work around and for all my grousing about it, I don't know that it's too terribly 'dangerous' to have that metal rubbing against the back of my tablet. But since ipads are so expensive I really don't want to take any chances.Another kind of odd design choice is the flap. Not negative, just something to note. The flap doesn't cover the opening to the main pocket. The main pocket is accessed by a zipper on the top of the bag - behind the flap. You do not lift the flap to get into the bag. The flap has a small pocket and a d-ring on the front of it. Underneath the flap there is only another small slash pocket (i keep a travel pack of tissues in there) on the front of the main body of the bag and that's it. I guess the aesthetics of having a flap warrant it being there, and the extra pocket space there is nice, but it kinda made me go "huh" at first that. Like I said, not really negative. I don't know that I'd want the flap to cover it, honestly - it's pretty easy to get in and out of the back as is.The strap is fine. It's made of the same canvas material as the bag. It's comfier than a standard nylon strap on cheap, back-to-school bags. But there's no cushion/pad on the strap, which would be nice - I don't know how fun this would be to carry for long, long periods of time. The other issue with the strap is that I do have to re-adjust it on my shoulder a fair amount - it likes to slide uncomfortably towards my neck. That's nothing unique to this bag; plenty of other bags have this issue. Maybe it's a bigger deal for me since I'm a bigger guy - I don't know. It's not too bad but sometimes it's a little annoying to have to fidget with it.This is also in comparison to my timbuk2 messenger, that has a comfy pad and the bag is designed to rest across your back and doesn't slide around as much on my shoulder. This bag wants to rest more at your hip if you wear it cross-body. I don't think it's a dealbreaker or anything but figured I'd mention that. One thing I think would be nice to add is a small hand-strap/handle that rests flat against the top of the bag. Picking it up as I get out of the car is sometimes a little awkward - either have to pick it up by the armstrap or awkwardly grab it by the top of the bag itself. A small canvas handle, like a slimmer strip of the armstrap material, just to pick it up would be nice. Nothing bulky; again, the timbuk2 classic messenger has a very slim strip of fabric that rests flat against the bag until you need it - it gives you a nice place to grab the bag by without getting in the way otherwise. I'd like to see something like that here.Otherwise - really enjoying this bag. Makes carrying my ipad and other stuff with me when I go to lunch or the library or wherever really easy; I have everything I need at hand without hauling a bulky bag on my back that gets in the way. It looks nice and the negatives are pretty minor. To sum it up again:+ Great capacity.+ Perfect amount of structure.+ Looks nice.+ Slim easy to carry.- Hidden metal zipper & D-ring inside protective tablet pocket that would rub against your tablet (easily mitigated by using an ipad case or placing a notebook as a buffer between your tablet and the metal)- Wish it had a small handle on top to make picking it up a little easier.- Arm strap doesn't have a cushion/pad.Very nice bag. I'd recommend it.
