Behringer EUROLIVE B215XL 1000-Watt 2-Way PA Speaker System, Black

Everyone scoffed at me when I bought all Behringer equipment, but they are all eating crow now! These sound AMAZING when the system is properly EQ'd. Faithful reproduction of mid- and high-frequency sounds (high-frequency sound can be overpowering with these... an EQ is a MUST!) and fairly deveny and punchy bass, though they aren't built for that (If you're doing music, you NEED a sub!) They work great as monitors too, as the shape lets them sit at just the right angle. They've survived 6 events with multiple EDM DJs at each, and I haven't managed to smoke them yet! My last event, between 2 of these, four B212xl speakers and two B1800D-PRO, I managed to hit over 127 dBc at 2 meters, and the sound was clear as a bell, with no crackling or clipping. October 15th, 2013 - I'm adding some info here: I just did my first OUTDOOR show with these and they have amazed me again! They threw the sound several hundred feet without even running NEAR the rated power input (accounting for cable losses, I was probably putting about 750 watts into them) but they were still nice and loud, with clear sound, both for the live band and the EDM DJ! I got many complements from the event organizers and attendees as to the quality of the sound. I'm quite happy!

Behringer products usually are hit or miss or overall lame, or cheap quality but these. Wow just wow. These speakers are by far the best thing they make. They are rugged, reliable, durable and sound wonderful. I've gigged them, dropped them, sudden power failure hit the pa and had a voltage spike hit them. And these things just keep on trucking. They are plenty loud for most band applications, I've used them indoors, and outdoors. To crowds of 200+ never had to bring the levels above 1/2 ever. Enough bass response to push the bass through them without needing a subwoofer too! If you're on a budget get the active version, I have both the active and passive. Both are wonderful, but the passive are way more convenient as you only have to run one wire. And not a signal and separate power. When you have only 2 plugs and you have to provide stage power for electric guitars, typically 3 to 4 sockets each, lights, bass, plus power the pa, etc. And all you have from the house is one socket things can get dangerous pretty quickly, and you can run out of space. You also dont want to daisy chain surge protectors, so passive speakers and rack mounted power supplies solve this issue.

I picked up a pair of these speakers (Behringer 15 inch B215XL) for use with my powered mixer (Behringer PMP 960M) and they do not disappoint. Solid craftsmanship and awesome design. The build in handles make each speaker an easy 38 lbs to lift. I found the bass to be loud and deep contrary to the opinion of a few other reviewers. I would recommend these speakers to anyone. The sound is loud and clear at all ranges...for the price, 250 continuous watts (1000 watts peak) is a great buy.

I grabbed a pair of these with free super saver shipping and was out the door for under four bills. These speaks really rock. Behringer has really come a long way and I would confidently say, challenges more expensive brands. They are durable, easy to carry (I carry one in each hand to move them from the truck or back), and sound just wonderful. I am powering them with the Behringer Europower EP2000 Professional 2,000-Watt Stereo Power Amplifier with Atr (Accelerated Transient Response) Technology , and with that power available they just sing. Vocals are clear and not harsh, and bass and midrange are in equal response without EQing them at the mixer. Their low end stops at 50 Hz (not uncommon among PA cabs) but a subwoofer always can help. I chose the American Audio Powered 18Iinch Sub Woofer because of its deep low end response and chest thumping capability. All in all these PA cabs rock out and don't complain, and I dare you to find something that sounds as good anywhere near this price range.

TRIED THE B215XL WITH PLYE PRO PP200 2000 WATT AMP CRANKED THE AMP HALF WAY HAD MY MIXER BASS VOLUME AT ABOUT HALF WAY TURNER UP MY MIXER VOLUME COULD HARDLY THE BASS VOICE COILS IN THESE SPEAKERS ARE VARY GOOD TWEETERS ARE GREAT TURNER LOWS TO MAX ON MIXER TURNED VOLUME UP ON MIXER TURNER AMP TO MAX I COULD JUST HEAR THE BASS FILL OUT A LITTLE EATHER SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH BASS SPEAKER OR THESE ARE MADE JUST FOR SPEAKING NOT MUSIC

I originally needed P.A. speakers for my Djing business at a low cost. I bought these not thinking they would be that big, they are huge! they weigh about 38 pounds. They work really great, and they are awesome, BUT what i figured out when i got them is that you cannot plug anything straight into the speaker itself (hince it is a PASSIVE speaker) but i did not know what a "passive" speaker was..what you need is a source of power to the speakers.. so i ended up having to get a power amp (what you need) that would with hold the amount of watts and OHM's for the speakers. i got the Crown XLS 1500 you dont need this for the speakers you can get any other power amp that can with hold the amount of power needed. You need 1000 watt 4 ohm bridge it says 8 on the back of the speaker but that is what is needed to split the bridge of OHM's for the two speakers I have. But all in all these speakers are really loud and great, the woofer is for bass but it does not provide as much as you think it would

Diese Boxen sind einfach nur Genial, Bei mir werden die Boxen mit ca. 350 Watt betrieben und hören sich selbst auf Maximal Lautstärke immer Total sauber an und sind super was das Thema Frequenz-Trennung angeht und einfach nur Hammer Lautsprecher!! Der Preis ist auch echt Gerechtfertigt bei der Qualität die Behringer da abliefert

I bought 4 of these for use as passive stage monitors. Very impressed with sound quality and design for the price.

Le casse sono di buon fattura e corrispondono a quanto aspettato, li sto usando da c.a. un mese e sono soddisfatto, piccola nota sono un po pesanti quindi non da spostare di spesso.

These arrived on the Monday after the date of the Gig . Not good . But they are really good , based on a domestic session . Well worth the upgrade to 15 " from 12 " that I have been using . The range of the speakers is really good . Obviously heavier , but worth the trouble .

J'ai commandé ces enceintes pour les utiliser dans mon salon comme enceintes hi-fi et surtout home cinema. Les enceintes sont associées à un subwoofer svs coupé à 90hz. J'ai été influencé par un thread sur le forum AVS. Le résultat est exceptionnel, supérieur à mes attentes, le son est comme au cinéma, dynamique, sans distorsion et surtout la scène sonore est extrêmement bien reproduite. Le son flotte littéralement dans l'air. En hi-fi le son est très précis, tout est en place, ce sont les meilleures enceintes que j'ai entendu à ce jour (Meilleures même que mes Q acoustics concept 40 que je vais pouvoir revendre).
