Good Afternoon, the Munchkin Lulla-Vibe Vibrating Mattress Pad uses 4 AA batteries.

Are the vibrations strong enough to work on queen size mattress ?

Likely. I never tried it on a queen size bed -I only used it in pack and play and baby's regular crib. The vibration is pretty strong so I'd think it'll work ok. Especially when the batteries are brand new. Instead of putting it directly under the mattress you can try to slide it in the side (head) Btwn the mattress and wall if your set up facilitates that. Good luck. Love this product. I have 2. Use them EVERY nap & night time for 9 months. :)

Will this work for a 4 year old with a twin mattress?
