Bought this through Amazon renewed at a great price. It came in perfect condition.If you follow the directions exactly it assembles easily with a screwdriver. If you glance at it like me and start to wing it, you might have to take it apart and start over like I did.It fits together tightly and is strong and stable enough to hold a pile of magazines neatly organized and out of the way. The wide base keeps it from tipping even if the contents are all leaning to one side.I wish it came with something to cover the very visible screw heads, but a bit of paint will fix that.

I never write reviews for products until I have used them for a good amount of time (I hate reviews that state, "this just arrived a few minutes ago and I love it!"), but this rack is pretty straightforward. Seeming quite substantial otherwise, and good looking as well, an Achilles Heel could well be the supporting "board" that the magazines rest on, which is very flimsy and cardboard-like. The maker should upgrade this to a stronger, more substantial material capable of supporting a heavier load.I utilize this as a table-top display rack for matted art and photographs, as I have little wall space for framed art. Presented this way, I or my guests can browse through my cool collection. I ordered inexpensive 11X14 mats with 8X10 cut-outs that includes backing board and protective cellophane-like envelope to protect the matted artworks, here on Amazon. As a group, the collection is heavy, thus my concern about the thin board that supports them. This rack's design is ideal for my purpose otherwise.

I mean, it is what it is. It's a magazine rack, and it holds the extraordinary amount of books my kids put in it. They've even stood on it. Thought about putting them in it. Built to handle your largest book and magazine needs. The magazine rack is exactly what we needed. It its small & lightweight and holds many magazines and makes it easy to look through them for what I want to throw out so I can get rid of their clutter.
