It works
I know, I set and looked at it for a while as well. It works. It is all about the position/location of the O ring as the stopper is screwed on snug to close and unscrewed loosened to pour. I would give it 5 stars but as it is new and I do not know its useable life. So right now it gets 4 stars. Enjoy your travel coffee.

Delivered in Tissue paper
Its a little larger than the old stopper for my 1970s Stanley Thermos but fits fine. The disruption to my muscle memory when screwing it tight will take some getting used to but it fits and doesn't leak so that's a plus. All that along with the price deserves 5 stars.Giving 3 stars because it was delivered only in tissue paper which was stapled to the cardboard label (see photo)...obviously a used item or seriously mishandled...either way kinda sketch
