I'm so thankful that I found this dog sunscreen. I have an old pit bull that loves to sit out back and bake in the sun for hours and hours a day. However her feet and stomach get burned really quickly so I have to constantly monitor her so that she's only out there for a few minutes at a time so that she doesn't get sunburned. I never really thought that dogs could have sunscreen until I found this and it has been an absolute game changer for her as well as for me. Now I can let her sit out there longer and she can actually enjoy the summer sun on the back porch without having to be brought in every few minutes. She didn't like it at first but I think that was mostly just having something sprayed on her or now she knows to wait at the door so that she can get the sunscreen put on her so that she can stay out there longer. Overall I could not recommend this enough. Absolutely amazing value for the money and so thankful it allows my old dog to get to spend more time outside enjoying her life in her older years

It was very easy to apply, it also had a nice smell to it. I was afraid it would make my dog’s fur look/feel oily but it didn’t. Both my dogs didn’t show any signs of a skin reaction or anything. My dogs got to enjoy the Yosemite dog friendly trails without getting sunburned. It was easy to wipe off with a wipes at the end of the day, I reapplied throughout the day.

My dog and I where staying in Oregon over the summer when I discovered he has a certain body part of his that gets sunburned like I’ve never seen anyone get sunburned before -and unfortunately not only sunburned, but due to the location of this area when he sits down the hot concrete scalds him too. (He is a male dog and he is not neutered, so with that being said I’ll let you figure out what body part of his I am referring too lol) I took him to the vet for a routine check up and mentioned it, the vet told me that unfortunately there’s nothing to fix that besides neutering him or putting him in a diaper - I am considering neutering him as i don’t ever want him to have any puppy’s, and for health reasons, but I don’t plan on doing it soon, and I definitely don’t want the poor guy in a diaper, so I thought maybe sunblock would help, but due to the body part that it is, I certainly didn’t want to have to run sunblock on him, so that’s when I came across this spray on sunblock and I’m so happy I did ! His skin stopped turning bright red and when he sat down on the concrete they didn’t seem to get irritated like they did before either. He didn’t mind me spraying him as the nozzle sprays a very very fine mist -he almost didn’t even know I was doing it. There is no sent which is also a plus because he didn’t try to lick it off. All and all it’s a good product and it works. If you’re looking for a sunblock for your dog then this is the one I would go for. I use it to spray his nose too and he doesnt at all mind it in his face, and it never irritated his eyes if it happen to get in them -which I don’t think it did because he never reacted but like I said, it’s such a fine mist that sprays out it may have and he may have not even noticed He’s not a fan of water being sprayed out of the hose so I wasn’t sure he was going to be okay with this but he was, so if you have a sketchy dog when it comes to water I wouldn’t worry about them thinking this is the same, they probably won’t even feel it or see it or smell it. But even though they don’t know it -it will work !!

I'm not sure if this really works or not, but my dog has yet to get sunburned. Pros: One thing that I can definitely say about the product though is that is gives him a very shiny, soft fur coat, which is very nice to pet. Cons: The bottle kept leaking no matter how tight we screwed on the top and the sprayer didn't spray very well. I ran to Target and bought a spray bottle from the garden section which actually works very well and doesn't leak.

With summer here & my dog Gibson is black & loves the sun. This spray is easy to apply, no odor & makes me feel better my dog is protected from the suns' harmful rays.

I don't know how well it works as today is only the 2nd day I've applied it to my white, short-haired dog. But the bottle and sprayer are TERRIBLE. The sprayer does spray well....it also drips and leaks ALL OVER (and yes, it's on tight). It makes a mess of my bathroom floor and it gets on my hands so that I have to keep wiping my hands and the bottle off because it's so slippery I can barely hold on to it. Then I have to mop my floor or risk falling. As much as I love that it has no alcohol, I won't be buying it again unless they improve the sprayer.

My dog has a spot on her nose that gets worse in sun. I spray on my hand and apply to her nose area. She doesn't mind it. It doesn't have an odor and it works well.

We have a white pitbull who loves the sun. I had to show him it was ok by putting it on myself first. But after that he was fine. We are happy with the product so far
