I have finally given myself a gel pedi
The picture attached is day 2 of a gel pedi I did on myself. I haven’t attempted to remove it yet, & my goal is to get to at least two weeks on my pedicure with this peel off base. If I can reach at least two weeks, I will keep my 5 star rating in place, & if I can remove it without damage, then my review will be positively glowing. So far I really liked this product. I found it to be thick, like others mentioned, which I didn’t especially like, but I was prepared for this, so I didn’t mind it, & seemed to have decent results. I have never even dreamed of doing a gel pedicure before, as the thought of trying to soak it off seemed so daunting, & not worth it, as regular polish seems to hold up fine on pedicures…it was primarily the cure time I was not digging with standard nail polish. Like other suggested, I tried to apply this as thinly as possible, trying to keep a 1mm edge around the nail, so it wouldn’t peel up as easily, then I applied a standard gel base, my color, & a top coat (capping the free edge as well as possible…my nails are short, so it’s not easy to do that without getting polish on the skin, but I tried. Before using this product I tried another peel off base (Gellen), & I was not impressed…but so far this one seems good. The thing I didn’t like about Gellen, was that on some of my nails they’d spontaneously just peel off while I was out & about (one literally just peeled off in a light breeze & blew away on day two). If you’re a content creator, putting together nail design daily & don’t want the damage or hassle of standard gel polish removal, it would be just fine, but for my purposes it was not a good fit.So, I finally removed my pedicure after a month of wear. I forgot to take a picture, it it held up well, & the only reasons I decided to remove it was because of the outgrowth, & wanting to freshen my pedi for an upcoming vacation…plus, I was getting tired of the color & ready to try something new. The removal process was much easier than removal of a standard gel manicure/pedicure (no need to soak in acetone, or even use the acetone). Just file back the top surface as much as possible, trim your nails, spray with alcohol (I have isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle from my youngest wearing a shaping helmet), & use a cuticle pusher to try & scrape the polish off. Overall it wasn’t awful, but it did require a little more effort than I previously anticipated.

Makes changing gel so easy!
Wow, I am sorry I didn't try this sooner. I was sure this would lift, but no! A very thin base coat and a thin coat of this before polish will make your life so much easier. This has great holding power without lifting literally for weeks. I have also used this combo = base + peel off + polygel with the same result and easy removal. My nails are in much better condition and don't stay in acetone for ages making my cuticles dry like before. Changing manicures takes much less time and the result is as beautiful as ever. This is a very thick formula and you don't need much. I do leave a little margin around the sidewalls and cuticle sides so the polygel or polish does have just the edge to adhere to the base coat alone and it works like a dream.

Pretty good- but remove carefully
The media could not be loaded. Having tried other peel off base coats and getting mostly poor results, I came across this one and decided to try it under gel color, hard gel, dip powder, and polygel.Aaand... it worked great! As other reviews have stated, it's definitely thick, almost like a builder gel, so apply it as thinly as possible and let it self level before curing. I wore polygel over it for about two weeks before removing, and had very little lifting. As for removal, do not approach this carelessly, or you could take off some of the surface of your nail with it. EDIT: before, I recommended using oil to remove this, but having tried isopropyl alcohol as another review mentioned, I found it worked much faster. You can use either, but know that while alcohol works faster, it may dry out your nails (go for 99% if you can find it). I still recommend the same general method:-File the very tip of the nail to break any cap. Thin the nail if you are wearing polygel, hard gel, dip nails, etc., and take down any length. This isn't necessary for gel color.-Using an orangewood stick or silicone cuticle stick, gently push the very edges of the polish/enhancement up until it lifts slightly. Do this on both sides and around the cuticle.-Apply a drop of alcohol or liquid oil to the nail, allowing it to soak under the little edge you just pried up. Give it a couple of minutes to soak under.-Use the cuticle stick to gently pry the polish/enhancement up, alternating sides as you go. The thinner the enhancement is, the easier it will be to remove. Take your time and don't force it. If you want, add a little more alcohol/oil.-Once the polish/enhancement is removed, wipe the surface of the nail down with alcohol.I took a star off because there isn't any information included about how to remove these, and the removal can be hard on the nails if done incorrectly. But with proper use, it's a pretty good product. (I'm removing dip powder in the video.)
