Q: Does this shampoo dry hair like some neutralizing shampoos?

I swim about twice a week and have color-treated hair. This shampoo does NOT dry out my hair but, I would never not condition it after swimming. It actually does a good job removing the pool chemicals from sitting on my hair and scalp. Highly recommend the body gel and other products.

Q: My 10 yr old daughter's hair turned green from copper in my pool.(I'm fixing the water) Will this do a good job removing it completely from her hair?

More than likely you have copper pipes. That's what's causing the green hair. Most people think it's the chlorine but it's not. You won't solve the problem of of the copper unless you remove the copper piping. However, you can use a neutralizing product like this shampoo, it will help. Water and vinegar will also help.

Q: I have brightly colored hair - would this product cause my hair to fade quicker?

I don't have dyed hair, so I'm not sure. But I think the chlorine itself would fade your hair and in my experience this does a better job getting rid of the chlorine than any of the other swim shampoos. It might be worth looking into Aqua Guard since that might help prevent fading since it prevents the chlorine from soaking in in the first place.
