'Ramona' Subtly Seductive Vintage 50's Inspired Swing Dress

Absolutely Beautiful Dress! I took everyone else's Review info and advise, and ordered per measurements and not by a "size" number. Because some advised this dress/style runs small or tighter, I order 1-inch more above my actual measurement for chest/waist (went the next size up), didn't worry too much about the hip measurement since the dress fits at the waist and flares at the hip -and it fits perfectly! The neckline and collar add a gorgeous, classy flare to the dress. The neckline is a little low for my personal taste, but a pretty or lacey camisole will do the trick. Or for a different look, a broach might work. If you like a lower neckline, it is perfect! The described Polyester, Elastane material is like a jersey-type material, not flimsy, heavier than typical jersey material. It has a flowy, full skirt that hang nicely alone, but for the full affect a petticoat underneath fills it out and gives you a different look. The decorative buttons on the cuffs are beautiful! Very good quality and worth buying! This could be worn as a pretty date-night dress or a 1940's/1950's party dress. Many options! And to top it off, the shipping was very fast and this was received weeks before expected! Definitely will be a return customer!

Beautiful dress! This may be the first time someone liked my dress so much they wanted to know where they could get one just like it! Just a little large on me - but I think the next size down would have been too small.

Large, bulky, and heavy. Not at all what I was expecting for the material - that could be my fault for misunderstanding. I like the style, but not the material.

i actually like this dress a lot however, I do have some challenges with the structure... - Note, this dress has a side zipI believe several persons pointed out that the torso portion right underneath the breast is too short and I wholeheartedly agree. I am not a designer however I would think that releasing the top band or top two bands, and extending the bottom bands by an additional two or three would make this dress grand! I tried this dress on with and without crinoline and I prefer it with, however I have to find some that is more sturdier as this dress has a nice heavy material therefore it will take a stronger or maybe wider crinoline than I have. I identified this as a like, and would have said love had the structure been slightly different. Please note, I have relatively slim/athletic arms and it fits me snug so I am sure others will have challenges with the fit of the sleeves on this dress. my perspectives on the fit of this dress...1. if you have an hour glass figure with slim/athletic arms or you are slim, order your size and focus on the bra size as the rest will fall correct. also note though, the fit of the rolls on the dress will be directly under your breast so you may even want to consider ordering one size larger2. if you have a pear shape, I suggest you order the size for your bra as the top will probably fit nicely, again though, bearing in mind that if you have thick arms, you will need to consider ordering a size up as the fit of the sleeves are straight and does not offer much slack3. if you have an apple shape, I suggest you order this dress in your bra size since the bottom is of no consequence as it flounces out. additionally, take into consideration your arms (if they are thick) as well as your waist since this dress offers a fit that actually gives you an hourglass shape, and it has a size zip so that should be a variable that you add when you order.overall, I really like this dress, but I may have to release that first roll due to it sitting right on the bottom of my breast and I don't know if I like that...

I am a size 18 and roughly 5'7 and this dress is perfect!!! It is beautiful and comfortable. The fabric is cool enough for summer and warm for winter and moves SO WELL!!!Without a petticoat it looks a little frumpy but with a petticoat it is so flattering!This dress is great for anyone with curves and if you don't have curves it will create them!This is my second time ordering from Lindy Bop and I have been highly satisfied everytime!!!

Not flattering fit at all - too tight in waist. Fabric was not what I was expecting - too stiff and thick.

Love this dress. Beautiful neckline, collar and cuffs. I followed the sizing recommendations exactly and the dress fit well. The waist seemed to run a little larger than the guidelines.
