This is a very specific product for a single need for a single type of vehicle. If you're bothering to look at it, you need it. You really needn't look any further. Dodge/Ram, in all their wisdom, thought many truck owners desperately needed a business card holder in their center console. Now, since I'd guess a solid majority of pickup truck drivers don't carry business cards, that one is a real head scratcher. The way the card holder in the truck is designed, it even makes a lot of folks think it's a phone holder. But trust me, it isn't. Unless you have a super thin and tiny phone, it won't fit in that thing. So Wade (inventor of this product), comes up with an idea to make an apparatus that fits perfectly into this business card holder, but also holds various sizes of phones (depending on which size you order). I read the specs of the small one, then read the specs of my iPhone 6S. I have a really thin case, so the specs seemed to say a small might possibly work. It did work, but it was a bit snug. So I decided to return it and get the medium size phone holder. I did, and now my 6S will fit just fine with just about any case I could put on it. I've been living with it for a couple months now, and I still absolutely love this thing. Holds my phone at a great angle to glance down and read it at a stop light or reference a GPS map while on the open road. A pleasant side effect (whether intentional or not) is that when I have my phone speaker on, the case even acts as a natural amplifier of sorts, making notifications and GPS directions easier to hear if I don't have it running through my radio already.Side note: In my return of the Small size and subsequent purchase of the Medium size, I was in contact back and forth with Wade several times. He's an absolute great guy who stands 100% behind his product. I love to see those kinds of dudes succeed, too. After my initial purchase, he even sent a handwritten note thanking my for the purchase and giving me his personal contact info if I had any questions or concerns.

Just what I always wanted/needed for the waste of space called a card holder. I bought the large size for my S9+ with a Otterbox case. The large is too big/wide but works just fine, medium would be better. Would be perfect if it had a wireless charging system on it.1/3/24 UpdateI've had this item in my truck for about 9 years now, and have used it for several large size phones with cases. I live in South Florida and the truck sits outside all the time, so the heat gets to be extreme. I recently developed an issue and reached out to Wade through Amazon, to discuss. He was very quick to respond, and went above and beyond to resolve my issue, which he did not have to do. It's a $20 item that I feel very confident in saying I got my money worth from it. I was willing to purchase another one.Wade went above and beyond my expectations to resolve the issue, which I did not expect him to do. There was never a perfect spot to put my phone in my truck until now. I'm not a big fan of mounts that stick to the dash board, they never come off easily and when they do, your dash is permanently discolored. Suction cup mounts are nice, but they take up valuable vision out of the front window.Alas, the RPC phone holder. Slides right into the business card Holder in the center console. Holds the phone at a perfect angle, and at an excellent height if I'm using my phone's gps. It has an excellent, strong grip and my phone won't move an inch, even when taking a sharp left or right at decent speeds. I was a bit worried that the material would scratch my center console, however the material it is made of will in no way put the slightest scratch in the console.I highly recommend this for anyone, in fact, I bought another one to give to a buddy as a Christmas gift!

Great addition to your Ram truck. In California, with our wacky laws for 2017 require us to have our phones 'mounted' if in a vehicle being used. So this item fits the bill! It dropped in the business card holder and fit like a glove. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and it fits with room to spare. The bottom is cut out so I can plug in the charger and it remains out of the way. This is a simple, yet amazing idea. I can see the design being integrated in to Ram trucks for 2018/2019 as a standard feature! It works fine but doesn’t fit my 13 ProMax snugly. It does keep it from flopping around the can of the truck but it is not a secure grip like many mounts. It does make use of the completely useless “business card holder” of the 2010-2012 Ram trucks

This is exactly what I was looking for. I hated that ram put that little slot there, which seemed like a great place for your phone, but it would fall out way too often. I was getting ready to try and build my own mount when I ran across a forum that mentioned this product. I ordered the small one right away for my iPhone 6 with a slim Spigen case, also from Amazon, on it. IT FITS PERFECT! The holder is just right and the perfect viewing angle and the phone fits snug, but not tight. I could not be happier. Only thing I have run into was while trying to send a text message the holders on the front blocked 1 or 2 buttons on the keyboard. Not enough to bother me or even knock it down a star as you shouldn't be texting and driving anyway, and something has to hold the phone in place!Update! Upgraded to an iPhone 11 with a Spigen Armor case and had to go to the medium size holder. Still works perfect and couldn’t be happier!!!
