Dentist-Approved Brilliance โ The Oral-B iO 7000 Delivers
After my dentist recommended upgrading to an electric toothbrush, I invested in the Oral-B iO Series 7000 in sleek black. Two years later, I can confidently say this has transformed my oral hygiene โ zero cavities, professional-level cleanings, and noticeably smoother teeth. What Makes It Special: - Dentist-Grade Cleaning: The unique round head with micro-vibrations removes plaque my manual brush missed - Enamel-Smart Technology: Powerful yet gentle โ no gum irritation despite daily use - Interactive Display: Shows real-time pressure sensors to prevent over-brushing - 7 Brushing Modes: Includes sensitive gum care and whitening cycles - Size: not too much larger than the standard toothbrush My Results After 16 Months: โข No new cavities (after getting 1 years before switching) โข Dentist comments on "remarkably less plaque buildup" โข Noticeably whiter teeth without bleaching treatments โข Gums no longer bleed during flossing Pro Setup: For optimal results, I pair it with: 1. Fluoride mouthwash (as my dentist suggested) 2. Oral-B Gum Care toothpaste 3. The tongue cleaner attachment Learning Curve: - First week felt strange after manual brushing for years - App connectivity helps perfect technique (but isn't necessary) - Requires charging every ~10 days Who Should Invest: - Anyone prone to cavities - People with gum sensitivity - Those wanting a dental-grade clean at home Minor Drawbacks: - Replacement heads are pricey (but last 3 months) - Travel case could be more compact This isn't just a toothbrush โ it's preventive dental care. While the upfront cost seems high, I've saved more on dental bills than the brush cost. If you'll use it properly, your dentist will notice the difference. Worth every penny for a lifetime of better oral health.

Best toothbrush I've ever used
Funny to think that years ago we wouldn't have dreamed of having a computer built right into our toothbrush. I't just some bristles on the end of a plastic handle, right? I'd say it's hard to justify the price for this toothbrush, but to be honest I can't. To me it's worth every penny. The last visit to the dentist had the hygienist telling me that my gums looked better than the previous visit; that's enough to convince me that the extra tech that has gone into the iO 7 was worth the extra I had to pay to get it. It's quieter than the old Oral B Pro that I had, and leaves my teeth feeling a LOT cleaner. The brushing action has the familiar oscillation but also incorporates micro vibrations, which help remove anything that shouldn't be on the surface of your teeth. The accompanying app. (which you download onto the phone) helps encourage good brushing habits, and maps out your teeth into 6 different 'zones' monitoring the time spent on each, as well as brushing your tongue, rinsing, flossing, etc. I used the for the first few days, but sometimes you just want to brush your teeth and get it over with, ya know? The app. also awards you with medals for different behaviours, and I can see how having a simple reward system like that can also encourage good dental hygiene. The charging stand has been redesigned, and the 'peg' from the Pro charging stand has been removed, and a strong magnet built in to hold the brush upright and in place. This is a huge improvement, and results in a much cleaner charging stand (if you've used the Pro for any length of time you'll know what I mean!). The replacement heads aren't the cheapest, but replacing one every three months is not the end of the world for a healthy smile. I consider my money well spent.

Good quality, great brand!
Good brand, does the work and improves on proper hygiene. Without a doubt, the brand and quality is the best one out there in the market. Toothbrush replacement heads are a bit pricey. There are other ones I suggest to do research to get better pricing and they do the same work.

2 Warranty, Bright will only last 2 1/2 years. Not covered.
Do not buy this product, unless you fully understand what will take place. They have a two year warranty, but unfortunately the battery life will only last 2 1/2 years. Not covered under warranty. So youโre paying about $100 a year for a toothbrush. this is a follow up from my comment above talk to the customer service and they were more than happy to have me send mine in repair and send it back.

Still working great after 6 months
I've been using this for 6 months now and decided to do a quick review. There haven't been any issues. I like the changing light feature to show if too much pressure or not enough is being applied. It's very easy to clean and the magnetic charging base works very well. I've used the app a few times and it works well but, in all honesty, I think it's more of a novelty that the user will eventually find unnecessary and stop using. It took some getting used to using an electric brush for the first time, but my teeth feel really slick and smooth afterwards so I'm pretty sure it's working better than a manual brush. The only thing I don't like is the pulsing it does after every 30 seconds to let you know how much time has elapsed; I'd prefer a different color light that it turns instead of the unnerving pulsing. It makes it feel like the motor is bogging down or something. The noise level of the brush is fine. The replaceable brush head lasts a long time although I think replacing it every 3 months is recommended in the manual. I like the shape of the brush head because it's the perfect size to 'cup' each tooth in order to quickly clean all of it at the same time. I trust the Oral-B brand as well.

Product received is marked "Not For Resale"
Product received is marked "Not For Resale" You're taking a chance that it's not covered by the manufacturers warranty. Not worth the price tag in my opinion. Not everything needs Bluetooth and or an app especially in lieu of shortcomings... Heads have holes allowing the toothpaste & spit to drip out onto your hand and down inside making it necessary to flush it out and blow it dry after each use. Sound simple? There are 3 holes in the brush head, so flushing with tap water and blowing it out means covering the holes - it's like trying to play the flute, but upside down over your sink! (Be sure to point the head left to right tonaboid getting the spray on your clothing!) To make the situation worse, the little tower-like mating end of the handle portion is also hollow, so it in turn also collects the toothpaste spittle from the head. The mating tower being hollow also makes it difficult to clean too. I'm leary of trying to run water through it for fear the water will get inside the unit and damage it. Again, sure you can turn it upside down and blow it out but who wants to add all this to your brushing routine! The "elegant" floating charging stand is cute to look at but not very practical. It is constantly getting knocked over. I'm so afraid to crack or break it as was reported by other reviewers. The brush heads are much more expensive (which is a reoccurring investment) and not compatible with those of the older non iO models. The heads and handle being physically different also means none of the existing "toothbrush stations" that hold extra heads and such are compatible, meaning more cost to you if you already have an older model. Even changing modes on the iO is annoying. Once you start with one mode you're stuck with it until it thinks you're done brushing, which takes 30 seconds or so to "reset" before you can switch to another mode. 30 seconds may not seem like much but when your already pressed for time in the morning, it is quite annoying. Oh ya, don't forget your toothbrush-flute cleaning Concerto! (Maybe the app could provide soothing music to ease your aggravation) In short, the price tag is ridiculous for the shortcomings vs features. I'm sure the Bluetooth connectivity and app added much to the cost. My message to Oral-B: Loose the fluff and drop the price. My message to shoppers: If you're considering buying the iO, don't. Wait for Oral-B to fix the sanitary & usability issues, and drop the price. The battery dies randomly at 30-40% charge left.

An upgrade from previous models, but costly.
This is definitely an upgrade from my previous Oral-B electric toothbrush. This does leave my teeth feeling smoother, as compared to my previous basic model from Oral-B. It's a bit more complicated to use, with the app, but maybe that information will be beneficial; if not, it can still be used with just the brush by itself. If you use a VPN, your experience with the app could be hindered. For instance, in the week's time I've used this the 30 second mark that buzzes within the handle of the brush has only worked during one sessionโall other times it did not buzz. I'm guessing that has to do with the VPN interfering with a split-second real-time connection. In addition, the ring lights that show pressure are not split-second accurate either, not always registering. Maybe the VPN has nothing to do with it, but I'm guessing this is the reason for the bugginess. The screen is not as "retina" display looking as the product images show; It is pixelated and not as polished. And it's worth noting my hunch was right: that you hardly look at the screen, so paying less for the black and white version, versus the color, was worth the savings. I can note that my other hunch was right: I didn't need to pay the additional money for the extra sensitive feature that comes with the iO8 or iO9. The basic sensitive function that comes with the iO7 covers my sensitively needs, and is even a mode I rarely use. Lastly, the biggest x-factor of this new iO series is the cost of the brush heads. So far, unlike all previous models, there are no generic alternatives. The cheapest I've seen these is at $9 a brush head, which is quite costly. All-in-all, I could recommend this brush as a means to keep your teeth very clean, and hopefully as a means to "keep" your teeth. That was my main motive with this brush, as I don't like going to the dentist, but would like the ability to fight plaque, tarter, and all those things that lead to loosing teeth. UPDATE 11/7/2022 I find that the brush tracking software is not too accurate; it will register as being on the wrong section of teeth. Someone had asked a question about the difference between the iO 6 and iO7: it would seem to be that the iO7 has the magnetic charging base, a different case, and an additional brush head; the tooth brushes themselves seem to be the same.

Great product. Does exactly what I needed!
I just swicitched to the Oral B iO 7 after abut 20 years using a Pholoips Sonicare which had been beolw their old standards for the past threee I've purchased. This one is beautifully engineered and manufactured. Very acurate , no sloppy attachement of the brush head; the app works well and really helps me calibrate the amount of pressure I use. I am a very happy customer, in spite of the negative comment I just left by mistake thinking I was leaving it on the terrible product I ordered just before this one... Sorry Amazon friends! I thoyught I'd better put in a good word after that complaint on the wron order!

Great but does NOT come with 2 heads
I decided to not detract stars for only including one head when they've advertised two because that's an issue with the seller and not the item. I've left seller feedback. Brush itself is great and pressure sensor especially.

Good product but stopped working merely after a few months
I use the toothbrush a few times a week. When not using, it was always placed on the charging dock. However, since late 2022, once in a while, when I wanted to use it again, it switched off automatically within seconds it was switched on, showing "0% battery", with flashing red light. Very Frustrated.
