Incredibly easy to program!
I was skeptical, but it was truly so easy to program with the included pins - one side of pins goes into holes on your old remote, the other side of the pins fits into holes on the new remote, thus linking them, then press a hold buttons according to directions. Voila, the new remote is programmed! Takes less than a minute, including reading the directions. You don’t have to drag out a ladder to mess with buttons on your overhead garage door opener mechanism. The new openers work great. I did have to try a second time to program one of the two remotes, but it was still waaay faster and easier than programming the old fashioned way. The price was very reasonable for two remotes.

Works As Advertised
This remote was easy to program, as I had one remote already correctly programmed via the opener motor itself. I programmed two new remotes following their included directions. For one of them, I had to insert the 3-prong device to the other side of the new remote for it to program correctly. Bottom line--these remotes work.I had tried to us a universal remote prior to buying these but once I programmed it via the opener motor, the other original remote I had did not work, and vice versa. So returned the universal one and bought these with the 3-prong device. Using that device, programming the two new remotes were a breeze.

Programming is Easy!
Once I watched the Youtube video on how to program the remotes, it was super easy. The instructions in the bag were serviceable, but I didn't see them until after I watched the video, which makes it brain dead obvious. Anyway, programming the new remotes was very simple using my existing remote. It just copies the existing remote programming. I didn't try programming these remotes just using my garage door unit. I think that may be a little more involved.TLDR; super easy if you have an existing programmed remote!

Easy to program my old remote to the new one.
To do the programming, you have to have the same type; Marantec. It won't work for other brands I don't think because you need the "pin" item that comes with the remote. It has to be inserted to the old and new transmitter to work. My old transmitter is probably 8 years old or more, but it was easy to program the new ones to my old transmitter. I had to push the buttons differently than the directions showed but it worked great, and they are good quality for the $$

Seems to work as described
Written instructions on initializing the new remote were not as clear as the YouTube video. Need to press button on current remote prior to pressing button on new remote, otherwise does not work. Other than that, seems good, but have only used for a day.

Good alternative to pricey Marentec brands
While not as cheap as universal remotes that work for other brands of openers, this is much more reasonably priced than the original brand. It was easy to program and opens the door. It may have a slightly smaller range but not enough to be significant. Only question will be durability since I have only had them for a couple of months.

Works great. Reasonably price
For some reason, I can't seem to clone the codes from my old existing remote using their provided programming pins. I don't think it's their product fault because my remote acts flaky lately.Programming the remote via the Garage Opener (M4500e) is quite easy and straight forward. Once programmed one, I was able to clone the 2nd one via their programming pin.Good product over all, reasonably priced compared to other options available on Amazon.

Backup Remotes for Family and House Guests
I own a Martin Garage Door and my one remote is old and I need some replacements. Your product saved the day for me. I used the old Martin Remote to program the new remotes from The GarageStop. I did notice that once the new remote was programed, I was not able to transfer the new program to the new remotes. So I programed all the new remotes using my original Martin remote. I am ok with that process. Thank You for a great product!
