12 quarts Stainless Steel Aluminum-Clad Stock Pot with Cover

This is a great size if you are planning to cook a big stock of broth. The construction is solid and heats up liquids quickly. If you have a induction stove stop, this heats up about 30% faster than on a standard electric stove top. Like any stainless steel cookware, cleaning is super easy. It's a really good buy for the price. My only concern are how the handles are attached to the base. It appears to be of thin material. I'm not sure how long or durable it is but so far no issue holding up a fully loaded pot of water.

This is a well-made and finished, fairly heavy-duty stock pot at a relatively bargain price. Its walls are thick enough to give it a substantial heft, and its large, welded handles are easy to grab, even with oven mitts. The stainless steel is finished nice and smooth inside and out. It heats evenly and cooks very well. The lid is thin, light, and utilitarian. It has a slightly domed top so that condensation drops back into the pot, and a small steam vent hole reduces rattling. I had a perforated pasta basket with a glass lid from a previous 12 qt. stock pot that fits this one perfectly, so lucky me! I thought about deducting a point for this pot's lack of a perforated basket and the minimalist lid, but for what it claims to be: a basic, 12 qt. stainless steel stock pot that is sturdy, well-made, and utilitarian, I think it delivers excellent value for the price, so I left it at five stars.

Good quality pan. Thick and durable. Worked great for turkey brining. Is not dishwasher safe though so needs to be washed by hand.

Good heavy duty pot. I used it to make a seafood gumbo and it cooked evenly with no sticking. Also easy to clean. Will likely buy another one soon because it’s the perfect size- not too big and not too small.

This pot is really excellent quality. Nice weight, just what we wanted. Made a ton of jam. Great for giant stews and sauces. Great heat distribution, things don’t stick or burn in random spots. Nice lid.

Great quality pan and a really good size! I purchased this to dye clothes in on the hob and it was certainly fit for purpose. I used 10 litres of water and it didn't bubble over or make any mess on my stove top. The inside was surprisingly easy to clean the dye from too, even though the surface appears to be aluminium. I thought it would stain really easily. I would definitely recommend this pan as a good quality piece of kitchen equipment - whatever you use it for. Of course the handles are going to get hot - I don't think you would find one where the handles don't heat up - just be sensible and use oven gloves to lift or move it.

I needed big pots for making stock, Demi glacé and big family chilli’s and curries. I saw these for an excellent price and thought what have I got to lose. Expecting fairly flimsy pots I was flabbergasted to discover really good, heavy, sturdy product with well placed and designed robust handles which facilitate ergonomically efficient lugging about of very large and potentially ungainly quantities of party food. WELL PLEASED 😀
