I have an 18-bulb chandelier with analog dimmer that previously had incandescent bulbs and was running hot. I searched through dozens of Amazon bulbs and these bulbs seemed to have the fewest complaints of defective bulbs.Although they cost more, I am confident I made the right choice. I have been using them for several weeks now and not a single bulb has died, and all of them arrived intact. The color temperature is very similar to the incandescent bulbs I replaced. I think these are even brighter, but about 1/10th power with virtually no heat.Several reviewers claimed that they had problems with their dimmer switches, but these worked fine with the standard analog dimmer (unfortunately, I do not know the brand), no flickering.The light from them is even and bright.The bulbs are glass - several other (larger) LED bulbs I use are plastic and won't break if dropped - but these feel fragile. As stated above despite feeling fragile (not cheap), all of the bulbs (18 - 3x6) shipped on working order.Normally, I don't waste time writing an Amazon review, but since these bulbs were as good if not better than the description, I felt I should share my experience.

It has a nice warn hue to it, and is very pleasant. Seems durable and it fits the lamp we use great. It has a good brightness to it, but not overpowering. Nice for in the morning.

These bulbs are awesome. They perform like the incandescent bulbs, but with less energy use. They don’t look like the typical LED bulbs, but the bulb runs cool to the touch. The only caution is that the screw in tip is a little longer than the incandescent bulbs and it was a very tight fit when installed on my chandelier.

(Update Jan. 14, 2021)These bulbs are still going strong after almost daily use for several hours at a time. I am happy so far. If they continue to perform then my rating will increase to 5 stars. Right now, my rating has increased to verbal 4.5 stars which I can't actually set in Amazon.(Update Oct. 22, 2019)The company contacted me to reiterate the fully compatible dimmers with these lights. I had forgotten they were listed when I wrote my review and my lamp is not a listed dimmer. That is my fault. I have adjusted my rating to 4-stars. I will adjust my rating in the future up or down accordingly based on longevity.I just got these today (Oct. 15). I put two (2) of them into my dimmable lamp. I wanted more light but they only had 40w equivalent, no 60w, when I purchased these and I say they are quite comparable to a 40w incandescent. So brightness rating is a 5. Energy efficiency and longevity are yet to be known since I just got them. However, my overall 3 rating is because these lights are specifically labeled as "Dimmable, No Flickering." Dimmable...yes. No Flickering...no. They flicker in my lamp until I get it to about 65% setting. I will try to capture video and upload it later. If these were to last a long time, then I would upgrade my overall rating to a 4. If I keep them, I will update as to longevity.

I was shocked to see these bulbs fit perfectly and emitted light which mimics incandescent bulbs. The cost while more expensive will cost less to operate per hour, and last considerably longer over the lifetime.Do I recommend them? YesAm I happy with the color? YesDid they easily replace the incandescent? Yes

I actually ordered the wrong bulbs for my fixture. I gave them to a friend of mine and he loves them

Bought these for a bathroom vanity. I was initially disappointed as these 6 "60W equivalent" bulbs were dimmer than the 4 40W bulbs i removed. However after a few on/off cycles, they brightened up so if you go with these bulbs and they are initially dim, give it a day.
