This is a burger-smasher. You place your burger on a high-heat, flat-top griddle surface and press down on your burger until it is thin. Leave this on the burger for about 30 seconds. Remove. Use your spatula to scrape off your burger and flip the burger. Your burger now has a nice char on that side. Cook other side for about 1-2 minutes.

The pictures are all a bit different, is it round or rectangular? And how big is it?

If the unit is 6" round, why does it say this in the size description: 4 x 5 x 3.5 inches

Do all of the round presses have 2 screws on each end?

Yes mine has 2 screws each end. Bought mine a few weeks ago.

Great quality tool!

Well made product. Good size and weight for 3 ounce smash burger patties. Handle is a nice grippy material and is designed well so it doesn’t accidentally rotate when in use. Easily cleaned in dishwasher, or use parchment paper and eliminate the cleanup altogether.

The Smashed Burger Ultimate Tool!

So after using The Burger Iron on 2 occasions now making smashed burgers! I have to say, there is no way i am going back.. This is deadset the ultimate Smashed Burger Tool. The smooth surface is perfect for this use alone. Ill be purchasing another one soon so leave outside by the BBQ Griddle!
