Must have for travel
Great extra item to pack along in case you find a good bottle to bring home. Weighs almost nothing and packs flat, but will genuinely absorb a full bottle if broken. I was flying home a few years ago and a bottle of bourbon got broken in my luggage somehow, but this pack stayed sealed and absorbed about 90% of it. Was able to just throw it away when I got home, no damage to my luggage. These are reusable, and I've probably used the same 3 pack about 15-20 times over the years, still working great. They'll fit a full size Pinot bottle, or a premium cab, odd shaped bourbon and scotch bottles (stuff like High West, Larceny or JW), etc. Doesn't fit short stubby 750ml bottles (Blantons, Old Fitz, etc.) or taller than normal wine bottles. Cheap insurance to protect your luggage. Well worth it. Can also be used for stuff like olive oil, vinegars, etc.

Half a Case of South African Wines made it through 6 plane transfers & 15K miles without one broken bottle!
These were the BEST purchase I made before my trip from the US to South Africa, I wish I would have bought a dozen! I went on several winery tours while there and my fellow group members were astounded that I would buy so many wines to take home with me. They kept saying I'd regret packing red wine in with my clothes and that it'd be a disaster when I got home. I brought back six full size bottles of amazing SA wines and didn't have any issues whatsoever with breakage. The bags fit a full bottle with no problem whatsoever. The only issue I ran into with bringing back wines was that I needed to buy another bag just for the wine. I packed all 6 bottles in the bottom of a bag that was lightly lined with clothes. All 6 bottles made a trip of over 15,000 miles without incident. It wasn't a gentle trip either - the bottles were transferred from plane to plane at least 6 times, the bag was lost for two days and also traveled over bumpy roads to arrive at our Photo Safari in South Africa. I would absolutely recommend these Jet Bags to anyone who wants to bring booze home from vacation! Of all the travel gadgets, doodads and helpful items for a trip, these were by far the most useful items I purchased. Truth be told, I was a bit concerned about paying duty on the 6 bottles of wine I brought back. Customs waived us on when I declared that I had 6 bottles in my bag (plus 2 bottles of duty-free Amarula), but with the amazing exchange rate of 15:1, paying duty would have amounted to less than $1 a bottle... and some of the wines I brought home have LARGE price tags on them here at home. Edit: I reused all 6 of the Jet Bags a second time during a trip to Spain this year. I made it all the way home with 6 Jet Bag wrapped bottles and 6 bottles wrapped in clothes - one bottle broke - it was wrapped in clothes - Jet Bags all performed flawlessly again, though after their second use (shoved Cava bottles in a few of them, which are larger base than a regular wine bottle) they were damaged and stretched out beyond belief & the inside padding was starting to come loose. Still the BEST travel item ever!

Must buy if you plan on bringing home any wine, olive oil, glass, etc. from a trip.
Must purchase if you are going to be bringing home anything liquid and breakable. We had to purchase some great wines and olive oil to bring back from Argentina, and my whole family used these bags with no problem. Our items were protected and perfect after checking luggage and flying home on four different planes. Ordered more for a friend for her trip to Europe soon.

They really work
I recently used these bags for international travel. Going I placed glass bottles of US food that my friends had requested. They survived the flight in my suitcase. Coming home I had 2 bottles of wine and jar of jam in my suitcase. The jam jar broke. The JetBag soaked up all the liquid and the contents of my suitcase was fine. The remaining bags are ready for another trip. I highly recommend these JetBags.

Fine for a limited use case
Overall these bags are useful, but they are not a foolproof solution for packing glass bottles. Basically these are heavy-duty ziplock bags in the shape of wine bottles, with some absorbent padding inside. If the bottle breaks or leaks, the padding should absorb a lot of the liquid, and the ziplock seal will contain the mess. The bags themselves are fairly thick plastic, so they feel robust. But it should be noted that the padding inside is not substantial, and isn't meant to be full protection for the bottles against breakage. You still need to wrap the bag inside clothing or towels to pad them inside your suitcase. Additionally, a minor design flaw is that the padding isn't secured inside the bag at all, so it is easy for it all to get jammed down into the base of the bag. You have to insert the bottle carefully to make sure it is completely wrapped in the padding.

Wine bag worked well
The wine bag worked well in getting 2 medium-sized bottles of olive oil home from Spain.

Useful & reusable
These bags are super helpful to take on trips; don't have to worry about broken bottles in my luggage saturating my clothes. They are easy to use and reusable. They are thick, lined and bubble wrap to help prevent breaking.

Excellent Value and Peace of Mind
What I received: three reusable press-seal top plastic bags (i'll measure later) inside of which are very absorbent fiber sleeves. Bottles go inside of the inner sleeve. The sleeve provides some protection from bumps and so forth but I wouldn't rely on that for the primary bump protection. If a bottle breaks, the sleeves absorb the liquid. Press-top may prevent further leakage. I didn't have any breaks, so I can only attest to the peace of mind these provided. I should do some tests though! (future results here: ) My experience: I wrapped a 6 12oz glass beer bottles in a single layer of small bubble wrap. I first wrapped each bottle in bubble wrap first to keep them from rubbing against each other. I was able to safely fit two in each bag/sleeve, though this took a bit of care as the inner liner got a little bunchy. After that I simply placed them in the middle of my bag surrounded by clothes and hoped for the best. I was able to fit three bottles into the bag, but without the bubble wrap. I suspect four would fit, but three seemed to be pushing the limits of the bag itself, and I didn't want to apply undue pressure between the bottles. The packaging withstood their use and I intend to reuse them on future trips. I found out about these in a beer forum while researching how to transport beer for air travel. A good friend who moved out of state recently got married and requested a brew only available in our home state of Wisconsin. Since it's legal to transport in checked baggage, I was happy to port some for the wedding. These would be excellent gifts for those who travel and like to bring home alcohol for themselves/friends/family.

Must have for serious wine travel!
Weโve been using these wine tote bags for a while now and absolutely no problems! Well made a very durable product! If it can handle the baggage handlers at WestJet, then it must be a great product!โฆ lol
